I laid her on the bed and felt the trembling in her body. I was torn and was suddenly in two minds if I should still pursue what she 'asked for'. I caressed her cheek allowing her breathing and heartbeat to come back to its normal rhythm. She held my arms...and silently looked up at me. A look that isn't ready for this but a look that needs another form of comfort. J sighed at how obviously she was expecting it to happen...but not now and not with her in such a state.

"Baby..."

"Am I not pretty enough?...you don't want me?... "

She whispered, a little worried. 

"No, no...of course not..."

I laid on my side and pulled her closer to me. I placed a kiss on her temple.

"Martina isn't ready for this...she needs more time."

She pulled away from my embrace, a humiliated look registered on her pretty face.

"Hey-"

"I'm sorry if I asked something...stupid."

I rose and pulled her back in my embrace.

"That's not stupid. You have no idea how much I waited for this. All I wanted the moment I realized that I've completely fallen in love with you is to have you in my arms. Honestly..."

She looked up at me...

"Honestly...I've never felt this way before. I'm a virgin too you know. Maybe not with all the physical aspect  but with all these things you're making me feel. Honey, this isn't just lust or some overrated love story...look, I can wait whenever you're ready. You think and feel you are but what you need right now is me. Someone who'll understand you. Martina, you can trust me sweetheart... I'll listen, I will understand."

"Baby, what happened back there..."

She looked a bit adamant but then, held my hand and snuggled closer to my body.

"I had a very traumatic experience t-there."

I didn't push her to speak up rightaway as it appeared that she was lost in a moment for a while...
