Just Me & You ♡

In my 20 something years of existence, I've never 'courted' anyone. Which also made me realize what kind of an as* I was. 😑 Martina emphasized and tangled the word 'gentleman' to courtship. All I did was flirt, hook up and...well I gained nothing serious at all.

I heaved a deep and frustrating  sigh as I patiently waited for my baby girl to come down and join me inside the car as I held the bouquet of white roses on my lap that I pre-ordered for my first day of 'courtship'.

When she came in with that  beautiful smile on her face, I handed the huge bouquet to her which made her more gleeful. She gently ran her fingertips on the white roses and beamed at me.

"I like them, thank you, oppa.😊"

Feeling accomplished, I gave my baby girl a small nod and started the engine. From now on, I will be driving and picking her up from school.

"Do you have any plans this weekend?"

She tilted her head;

"Ehhm..."

"Of course you do."

I resolved.

"Actually...I don't have anything in mind."

She said with a cheeky smile which automatically made me do the same.

"Well, then that's great. Cause I'll take you somewhere."

She may have pursed her lips and slightly bobbed her head but I can see happiness in her eyes behind my tinted glasses. When we reached Sinclair, she gave me a quick smack on my cheek. There were a lot of students rushing in so it was a little risky for me to open the door for her. She mouthed it's okay.

I watched her walk away from the car...and geez my heart. What a fine young lady. With the bouquet of roses in her arms, proudly walking her way to the entrance of  Sinclair.

It was all good when I noted a young man in the same uniform approached her. 😐

It must be the 'friend'.

he walked along with her before disappearing behind the huge gates of the prestigious school. I crossed my arms and felt a little weird because why do I feel like I know this kid.😒

Hmmm.

Tuesday- peach tulips

Wednesday- sunflowers

Thursday- various ones

She loved every single ones.

Friday- no flowers.

She was a bit surprised though. That despite the absence of floras, she still gave me a sweet kiss.
