He's home. I see.

The way he ordered me to go back sounded so authoritative and impatient.

But not the tone of the man I know so well.

This one sounded a different person...

I sighed.

I feel...estranged.

I didn't bother answering and quickly hang up. I faced myself in the mirror once again and fixed myself...

I feel like there was a sudden shift in my own little world...

Like suddenly, I felt like I was in the wrong place with the wrong people.

Nostalgia had hit me so hard.

Suddenly I missed home.

My parents.

The familiarity of the place where I was born.

And suddenly... I felt like lonely.

I should be feeling happy or excited that finally, he was able to squeeze some time for me in between his busy 'royal' schedule. I do understand now that I'm in a relationship with a person who can never give me a spot in his future. With that 'reality', I felt more discouraged. Now deliberating whether I should see him or just... let this chance pass.

I bid everyone a quick farewell and Laszlo gladly drove me back to the university where a chauffeur was waiting for me. Seeing my 'carriage' he suspiciously eyed me. Probably curious as to why I didn't allow him to drive me straight home.

"My aunt's a little strict so..."

I lied.

He arched his brows.

"Aunt? Your guardian? aren't you a legal aged-lady."

I smiled.

"I've got a very conservative family."

I quickly reasoned out.

"Hm. Horrid."

He gushed.

"Anyway, since we've already spent a few glasses of wine together, is it okay to finally address you in your first name?"

I chuckled.

"Well, sure. I-I'll see you on Monday... thanks for the lovely dinner and wine. I really enjoyed it... bye. Enjoy the weekend."

I got in the car and gave him a quick wave. I ignored my phone's non-stop buzzing. I felt a little dizzy and I...

Really feel like not seeing his face tonight.

Which is unfortunately inevitable.
