"Are you comfortable here, darling? You will be joining a few people but you don't need to talk to them. Just a foreign official with his wife and... another one from the cabinet... yes. Don't worry, these old folks are nice."

Ms. Cecil was such a darling. She assisted me at a balcony, close enough to see and witness oppa's arrogation. She even made sure that I'll be surrounded by a kind company.  The balcony is huge enough for at least 6 people to share. At first, I didn't like the idea of being present in this ceremony... I still remember how the palace officials eyed me when oppa and I openly walked around the royal premises. It was truly... uncomfortable. I felt seriously unwelcomed.

Ms. Laura was right. With me being in a secret relationship with a royalty...

It gets more complicated as days pass by.

I patiently waited and behaved on my seat as we waited for the ceremony to start. I was too uneasy that even the colorful metallic macarons and champagne served in our balcony didn't catch my attention. I fidgeted and my eyes were only darted on a specific spot. The palace court is already crowded with a fusion of press and significant people.

Balconies were filled with court people, officials and those closely connected to the royal family. I noticed that our balcony is one of the exclusive ones, because there were only 4 of us in here. With its size and appearance, I'm sure this spot was originally for the royal family as well.

I spotted Madame or 'mum' Elizabeth and oppa's grandparents. Finally getting a glimpse of his grandmother in person who I failed to meet during the banquet because she was in Africa at the time. Like the rest of oppa's family, quite elegant and intimidating.

Citizens crowded the boundary that sets them apart from the royal court. Versailles is now filled with people who are curious and waiting for the next royal to fill in the throne. Majority, still unaware but I wonder...

How will they take him as the new crown prince? From what I've heard from Lazslo's frieds, he's acceptable... however, they sounded a bit reluctant with his 'mix blood'

I sighed at the thought.

I pray that they accept him wholeheartedly. Not just the celebrity or limelight person they adored but the prince who's doing his best to fulfill a very complicated occupation.

I recalled the times when our situation was less complicated...

Sure, we needed to hide. Because tabloids might break me.

But this time...

I wonder if we can get through this.

The whole world is watching...

One mistake can be fatal.

My drifting came to an end as a wave of loud cheers filled the palace of Versailles...
