Dandy, Rich and Reckless.
J. Wintour is everyone's cup of tea.
Despite all the worldly pleasure, the pile of cash, champagne and diamonds, something is still missing.
There's more to fame and affluence.
"An Eccleston huh. Look, everyone knows y...
Despite being asked to stay while I unintentionally listened to their conversation, I wasn't able to catch a single phrase as they've decided to talk, surprisingly in hangeul. I stared at oppa the whole time as I never really heard him spoke in his father's native language. Maybe a few words but not completely in a conversational way like this. I only heard him spoke in posh English and French. It was surreal and captivating...

Underneath the table, I felt his hand on my thigh. Made little gentle pinches as he spoke to his dad in such an unfriendly tone. I'm not even sure if hangeul sounded this strong. I held his arm and slightly leaned on his shoulder as he talked...

"I'm really glad that you finally accepted my invitation. Been trying for God knows since when. I thought you didn't want this...ever."
I furrowed my brows, a bit baffled;
"This is your first time openly approaching me. I don't know what the hell you're talking about."
Park Jae-Hwa appeared truly surprised. Now a bit confused, he shifted his weight and in such a handsome way, gave me a quizzical look. It's kinda weird but I feel like I'm looking at myself in a few decades. He placed his hand on his chin...eyes stuck on me.
"I don't know what's going on either. But I never missed a single birthday of yours. I sent you letters and even reached out to your official email...certified social media accounts...but didn't receive any response. So I thought you weren't ready. When I saw you at Jewelry store...you don't know how happy I was. Well at least you didn't shun me or what."
Now more confused, I retorted;
"I never received any of those letters."
He had the same reaction.
"Well, that's really sad. I just sent everything at the address your mom had given me. When I asked her, she said none and told me you didn't want to talk to me when you were younger. I was hoping...that I was able to see at least one of your polo games when you were in high school. Cause I learned that you're pretty good at the sport."
Wait, what?!
"Mummy said you never want to deal with us. Especially me. Ever."
He was obviously offended of what I said and it's funny but I felt his sincerity as he looked at me straight in the eye.
