"This way, your highnesses,"
I walked ahead of Seokjin and he was followed by his wife, princess Annika and my lady Martina. I assisted my girlfriend on her designated seat, beside me of course while the Austrian royals claimed the other side. People began walking towards their places...
We watched calmly as the opera house began crowding with audience. Seeing everyone bow to us as we occupy the center balcony. In another upper balcony, the French escorts and my advisor, not stripping their eyes off me... or rather us.
Martina's hand was cold and clammy. It was pretty obviousthatshe'sanxious and I continously masagged it to calm her down.
Unlike us, she was frantically looking around; her eyes were searching for someone.
"Baby girl. Do you need anything? A glass of wine perhaps?"
I offered with an assuring smile on my face which was responded with a wry one.
"N-no oppa, I'm okay."
My eyes remained on her and gently maneuvered her face to me...
"Stop looking around. There should be only two places where your eyes must linger. Me and the stage..."
I kissed her hand and whispered;
"Pretend it'sjust the two of us... and the stage. Do not allow yourself to be distracted by people or anything that doesn'tconcern us. This is a date remember? So please be attentive to your man. Tsk."
She finally smiled and nodded before releasing a sigh.
"Okay."
She simply said.
"Good girl."
I muttered with a sensual grin to which I received a side pinch. A hearty laugh followed which made the other couple smile as well.
As I roamed my sight around, I instantly noticed a pair of eyes staring at me. Anais was on her way to the balconies when she waved her hand at me... I remained stern and unapproachable yet she excitedly greeted me from afar as though the lady beside me didn't exist. I simply gave her a glance and remained disinterested.
