sunrise

بينما كان شروق الشمس يلمع السماء ،
ويحول الليل إلى نهار ، غرق ظلها في الأرض

"As the sunrise
gleamed the sky,
turning the night into day,
her shadow sunk
into the surface of the earth,
and she realised,
if the creator of us all,
can change night into day
with merely a sun,
surely our lord can change
the darkness of our hearts,
and soften them to become
the lightness of the day.
