لقد ربيتني من عندما كنت صغيرًا ، علمتني أن أحب قبل أن أتمكن من الزحف ،
غرس القيم في داخلي ، أقدر براءتي ، في فقاعاتي الخاصة ، بعيدًا عن عدوانية العالم ،
لقد علمتني أن أبقى قويا.
You raised me from when I was small, Taught me to love before I could crawl,
Instilled values in me, treasured my innocence, In my own bubble, away from the worlds belligerence,
You taught me to stay strong.
To stand tall in the face of those who do wrong,
That our name means freedom and that doesn't come easy,
We all go through struggles but to live a life that would please me, An emptiness that can never be filled, Memories flooding in of lives unfulfilled, I lost myself for a while, this world became cold without you,
I found it hard to see straight after everything I'd been through, I am working on that now, maybe not the way you would have
wanted me to, But I was always a little different, a little misunderstood.
So thank you Allah for my parents raising me this way.
My love grows for you even more, every time I pray.
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
My Lord, have mercy on them, as they raised me when I was a child.
