Drowning in the depths,
She could see them at the shore,
Willing her to fight, To try once more, It was temptingly dark, waves ready to engulf her, Just for the moment, it all stopped, a sweet silence, Instincts awoke deep inside, she pushed past the darkness threatening
to drag her down,
A flash of hope, She pushed to find her safe people,
Those she could let her guard down around, A safe place to rest her heart away from the harsh world,
Those who held no judgement,
Those who pushed her through each day,
Those who never let her give up,
Her support. Her life buoy. Her safe place. Alhamdullilah
