The tent shouldn't have taken long to set up, but it was tricky in the beginning. The instructions, for a reason neither could explain, offered nothing in the English language. In addition, the diagrams were terribly misleading.

"Did you order it online?"

"No," he laughed. "I got it at that sports store off of route fifty-nine." He continued looking at the booklet as they stood in front of the standing-and-ready tent.

Laughter burst through her closed lips. "That's so weird. I'm keeping these instructions for my scrapbook." She snatched them from his hands.

"It's all yours," he said as she stuffed the small pamphlet into her coat pocket.

"So," she smiled, walking past him.

He followed her through a short path on their right. It led to a massive flat rock. She sat down and stretched out her legs. Copying her, he sat right by her side.

It was getting dark. The moon was growing stronger, and the stars were becoming more and more visible.

Nick went to move his arm around her, but she turned with another thought on her mind.

Her lips met his with a soft kiss. Then another. And another.

He pulled back and tucked her loose hair behind her ears.

She kissed him again, with more depth.

He reciprocated her energy and leaned forward with his chest against hers.

She laid on her back with her two hands holding his warm face.

After another kiss, she smiled. He pulled back, knowing she was telling him they were lying down and looking at the sky now. Nothing more.

The sky grew black, though it shined with infinite specks of brightness.

"Would you want to go to space?"

"For our next date?"

She turned her body toward him. "Yeah, or do you think it's too far?"

He smiled and after a moment answered her question. "I'm not sure I would."

"What do you mean?"

"If space travel could be something that didn't involve some long procedure, then yeah, that would be cool. But logically speaking, I'm no scientist, there's no reason I'd get to go."

She yawned. "That was way too logical of an answer. Why?"

"Don't know." He yawned too.

"Weird mood?"

"No."

"Hmm. You're just weird then?"

He scrunched his nose at her.

She kissed her two fingers and placed them on his nose.

He smiled, but then watched her wrap her arms tightly around herself.

"You want to get back to the tent?"

She nodded, and they both got up to return to the campsite.

Behind them, Nick zippered the tent and locked the two zippers together.

Molly sat on the two sleeping bags they had connected into one; her overnight bag rested in front of her. She smiled and softly said, "Turn around, Nickie."

He continued looking at her for a few seconds, smirked, and complied with his back turned toward her.

She smiled to herself and began undressing.
