The summer break ended quicker than expected, and college assignments started to pile up again. Seol spent her days in the chemistry labs and the library, Renjun was painting day and night while Hyuck was bored.

His singing and acting classes, as well as the musical club rehearsals still left him with a lot of free time. He was often hanging out with his colleagues, becoming a regular at college parties and get togethers. His chances to meet his soulmate seemed to be very high, but still no success.

Hyuck went on blind dates every Friday, and would often meet up with new people. He would go for a few dates before breaking up, after finding out that the girl was not his soulmate. This would happen again and again, yet people couldn't bring themselves to hate him.

He was so kind and was very affectionate so girls took it hard when he told them that it just wasn't it. A rumour of him being a playboy started going around other departments, reaching even Seol and making her worried.

She knew her best friend, but this behaviour of his was weird and alarming. Why was he suddenly more focused on dating around than his studies?

Hyuck did have a few girlfriends before and his relationships usually lasted a few months, but this was different. He was even rumoured to go around having one night stands, and THAT is not Lee Donghyuck.

The guy was always set on finding the love of his life, experience everything together and live happily ever after with her. That is going on in Hyuck's mind, but does finding his true love have to come with meeting so many girls?

Renjun was about to smash his head in the wall when his best friend told him about this "foolproof" plan to find his mate. It was ridiculous and if the universe was still as he knew it, Renjun was 98% sure that his friend would not be successful, even if it went on for years.

Did he tell him?
Yes.

Did Donghyuck listen to him?
Technically yes, but he brushed it off as Renjun being pessimistic. There was no way to convince him to change his ways.

Seol could just watch from the sidelines, as she was very much aware that the boys had secrets she did not know about. Renjun and Donghyuck were always closer to eachother than to her, and she learned to accept that.

She was a girl and they couldn't exactly talk to her about boy problems, right?

She too had her share of secrets kept away from the boys, ranging from the little crushes she had on them when she was younger to some bigger ones.

Her and Jjun were somewhat closer, after those times when he coincidentally saw her weak state, something she'd rather keep to herself. On the other hand Hyuck never knew of her problems, and believed that she had an easy life.

And so, having way too much free time, Donghyuck's tireless circle of searching had started. His energy high and mind set to succeed in his quest for the lost soulmate...
