Seol was the last to arrive back from the bathroom after taking a shower and washing the sand out of her hair. The two males were already seated comfortably in the chairs wearing sweatpants and hoodies, listening and dancing to music.

Hanging her wet clothes and towel up to dry, she grabbed her glasses before joining the jamming duo outside. The same worker from the previous day arrived, and skillfully lit up their grill before wishing them a nice evening.

The three immediately started grilling the meat and sweet potatoes, being hungry from playing in the water. Seol prepared some salad, Renjun was on meat duty and Hyuck cooked the ramyeon. With their united efforts, the dinner ended while the sun was still up on the sky.

"Guys... I think it time to have a talk..." Renjun exclaimed as he swirled the last bit of beer left in his can. Quiet music and talking could be heard from the tents around theirs, as the three sat in silence under the hung up fairy lights.

"Right, that's why I came here after all..." Hyuck downed his remaining beer before sighing and looking up at the slowly appearing stars. "We need to fix this mess we're in, it's been postponed for way too long."

Seol was just staring at her cup sitting on the other end of the table, not knowing how to start this conversation. "I guess Renjun told you about our encounter with your doctor?" A slight nod from the girl made him continue his speech.

"I understand why it happened, and although I didn't witness any of it, Renjun's support for your decision convinced me. I still feel bad that everything had to happen the way it did, and I want to say sorry.

I was just shocked and surprised, that's why I said all those nasty things to you. And trust me if I told you that I wish I could turn back time and deal with everything more calmly. But, you know me, and I can't lie to you that I wouldn't react negatively if it happened again.

Thinking of it, no matter when this thing had revealed itself, I would have probably needed time to adjust. Maybe if we bonded when you turned nineteen things would have been a little less dramatic, but then again... I'm Lee Donghyuck, what do you expect?"

This brought a small smile to all of their faces, lightening the serious atmosphere a bit. "I'm sorry too, Hyuck. I knew that after I turned nineteen, the possibility of me causing my soulmate some trouble was high. Every day when I saw you look for girls I couldn't help but feel worse and worse about myself.

I hated it. I hated being weak and I hated being afraid of stopping my medication. Both mom and the doctor were worried, as they knew just how much I beat myself up for making this choice. I knew that I might have hurt my soulmate, but I had to hope that I hadn't met them yet for me to keep hanging on."

Her voice got quieter as she looked at her fumbling fingers, recalled all those days when she nearly gave up. Taking a shaky breath, Seol continued, aware of the two pairs of eyes on her.

"Honestly, I wanted to stop taking the pills when I turned nineteen...but when they told me my symptoms would return, probably a lot worse than before, I couldn't. It was a hectic time at college, and I had to be there every day all day, not being able to afford spending weeks at home or the hospital."

"Then... How did we manage to bond that day if you were taking the medicine?" Renjun asked, as he heard most of the things said for the first time too.

During their reunion he decided not to pry, trusting the girl completely, but even he was surprised at everything she had gone through on her own.

"That...well that was also accidental. I actually ran out of my pills a few days before, but pushed my visit to the hospital to get new ones back until after graduation. I guessed that nothing bad could happen, since I'd only meet you two and my parents...but who knew how wrong I was."
