Seol

Min Seol was born and raised in Seoul and is an only child. She's a Betta hybrid with colourless, slightly bluish scales.

With her fair skin and black hair she could easily remind one of Snow White. Even the meaning of her name is snow, as she was born on the day of the first snow that year.

She prefers darker colours over bright shades and pastels, unlike majority of the female hybrids, and is not your typical 'feminine' hybrid.

Seol has grown up independently, as both her parents are hard working and busy. Her dad works at one of those bigger companies as a computer specialist, while her mom runs a smaller cosmetics company.

As child, Seol spent a lot of time reading and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles with her grandmother. She tried 'being' creative, but somehow her perfectionist side always ended up ruining her artworks.

When she was in sixth grade, her parents decided to move to a nicer and calmer neighborhood, thus they ended up beside the Huangs'.

Seol's pretty appearance, according to Korean beauty standards, attracted a lot of unwanted attention at school. As she was kind, she tried getting along with everybody, only for it to backfire.

The girls quickly got fed up with pretending to be her friends just because she was pretty, their jealousy only getting fueled when she also turned out to be smart too.

Being afraid that the boys would look at only her, soon some bullies appeared and Seol's only escape was avoiding everyone.

People soon turned their backs on her, and she was once again alone, but at least she wasn't being bothered.

It was a month after they moved, when during her sunbathing in her backyard, a yellow ball rolled over to her feet from the direction of the neighboring house.

Soon a voice and a messy head popped up above the fence, showing a smiling boy that was gesturing towards the toy. Seol recognised him as that loud kid from the classroom next to hers, and attempted to ignore him after the coincidental meeting, but it became impossible.

Thanks to Donghyuck's cheery and talkative nature she quickly befriended him, and also his grumpy best friend and her actual neighbor, Renjun.

Despite their different personalities the three of them got along pretty well. She found the regular fights and bickering of the two boys entertaining, and got easily familiarised with their dynamics.

After graduating, unlike the two artistic boys, Seol followed her own passion and entered the science department of the university, majoring in biochemistry.

Her dream was to become a pharmacist or work alongside her mother at the company. Her department's building being far away from the art university, and the loads of work and studying rarely allowed her to meet the boys during the week. The three made up for it by spending the Saturdays catching up, watching movies and just hanging out.

Seol never cared about whether her friends were humans or hybrids, and she wasn't curious to find it out either. To her, the two boys were like best friends and siblings, people who would always stay by her side.

She did have a crush on both of them once, but instead of something short lived like dating for a few weeks, she chose their friendship that would hopefully last forever. But who knew to which extent fate would twist their lives in the future...
