2021 July 24th, USA

Jaehyun has arranged for Seol to meet up with one of his friends and former clients, in hopes of helping her clear her mind. Getting to the cafe where they agreed to meet, Seol could identify the woman from the picture her cousin had shown her, and approached her. "Umm...hello? Are you perhaps Mrs Dong?"

The woman's face lit up as she smiled while reaching her hand for a handshake. "Ah, you must be Seol then, right? Jaehyun has told me some things about you, and I heard that you need some help and advice with that thing."

She discretely pointed at Seol's wrist, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable by talking about something so touchy right away.

"Yes, you are right. I heard from my cousin that you are in the same situation as I am and that I might get some advice." Seol didn't exactly know how to properly formulate her questions, which was not because she had to speak in English, but rather due to her not being used to talk about it in general.

"Umm...did you perhaps also experience some hardships after entering puberty?" That was the closest she was able to come up with to not directly mention the 'red devil' to a complete stranger.

"In my case it was not that bad, but one of my soulmates had really bad side effects. She told me how she had strong headaches and would be overly sensitive to scents during those days. I'm guessing you also had to go through something like that?"

The look of sympathy on the woman's face seemed genuine, and Seol didn't feel that bad anymore after hearing about her story. "Yes, I also had a couple of really bad side effects, but now it's hopefully going to stop. At least that's what my doctor said."

The woman nodded in agreement, before deciding to ask the girl a question instead. "It might sound a bit personal, but are your soulmates both dominant hybrids or?"

"Umm, if you mean if they are both guys then the answer is yes." This made the woman think a bit before responding.

"Then it means that you are probably the main link to your bond. You see in my case, one of my soulmates is a dominant hybrid while the other is just like me, a regular female hybrid. From books I read that the type that is in minority usually tends to be the main link."

"That would explain why the guys didn't bond earlier, and only bonded when we all had contact with eachother. But does that mean that their bond will break if I'm not around?" A slight fear started creeping up in the back of her mind, fearing for her two best friends' wellbeing.

"No, the two can strengthen their bond even without you around, just like how you can strengthen your bond with one of them or the other separately."

The two continued chatting and exchanging their knowledge for almost an hour longer, and Seol was now left alone with her thoughts on her way back to her cousin's house.

Soulmates are destined to be together, and that not as just friends. You might be able to continue your friendship for now, but your hybrid animal would start becoming stronger with time and crave its soulmate. It would not allow you to date anyone else, and it would get very possessive of its mates.

You could suddenly feel jealous of people getting close to your soulmates, even if it's their parents. I've experienced that when I had to go back to my hometown for two months, and it was really bad. It happens when you're not bonding or spending time with your soulmates, and gets stronger the longer there's no interaction.

These words replayed in her head, but what made her afraid the most was the fact that they couldn't stay best friends or friends like before. She knew that she would be able to endure it, but knowing the boys, they didn't want to have such a relationship with eachother, nor with her.

Jaehyun saw Seol enter the house and greeted her with a bear hug as her mood didn't seem to be the best. She told him about the conversation they had, and about what she had found out about tripple bonds as Mrs Dong had called them.

Receiving twice the love meant also twice as much trouble and twice as many needy mates that can't be neglected. This was something that would impact both her life as well as her career, if their working schedules clashed.

Seeing his little cousin so stressed, Jaehyun suggested that she puts her thoughts to the side and enjoys the rest of her vacation. She will have plenty of time to think about their future after she gets back home and talks things out with her two soulmates.

And so, their extremely lazy summer vacation in the backyard by the pool had started.
