For the weekend, as the weather was nice, the three of them decided to go for a walk to admire the autumn leaves. Meeting up right after lunch, the three soulmates strolled around the nearby park, remembering their childhood days.

From there they took the subway and went to the Han river. The parks along the river were packed with people working out, families picnicking, children running around and letting kites fly. It was a pleasant sight, as the summer heat has forced many to stay inside during the warm months.

Renjun had his airpods in, listening to music while Seol and Hyuck were chatting. The fallen leaves kept crunching beneath their feet, and the girl couldn't help but start kicking up heaps of red and yellow leaves.

Despite her high heeled boots Seol still had to look up at both males when she was talking to them. Renjun and Donghyuck were not that tall themselves, especially the older, but she was still tiny compared to the two. This usually didn't bother her, as she quite enjoyed receiving bear hugs and cuddling with them, but now her insecurities started kicking in.

Seeing the many couples walk around, groups of friends pass them, the girl got more and more conscious about her position. She was currently walking between two handsome men, with their arms linked together, just like friends do.

Catching the glances that the girls sent towards both of her companions made her feel uncomfortable. Seol didn't wear anything fancy, just her black wide legged jeans, a tucked in sweater and a jean jacket.

Her hair was pulled in a messy bun to avoid getting all tangled up by the wind, looking more messy than stylish. She only applied some BB cream and her tinted raspberry lipbalm, hiding the lack of eye makeup with her glasses.

Compared to Renjun, who seemed to shine whenever the cooler season came around, she would end up in one of two extremes - comfy or proper. The Chinese male had always managed to look like an actor despite wearing comfortable sweaters and turtlenecks paired with coats. Seol on the other hand either looked too dressed up, or like a giant ball of fluff when she pulled out her countless fluffy socks and hoodies.

Donghyuck was also a different story with his insanely long legs, that he just loved bringing into focus. That man looked good whenever and whatever he wore, no matter if it was summer or winter. Despite that, Seol had observed that the tan male was able to change his overall look as the layers of his clothes piled up.

From the summer hot guy wearing tucked in shirts, tight ripped jeans and sunglasses, with sweaters and sweaterpaws a cute bear came to life. He gradually went from hot to cute and back to hot in the span of a year, always fascinating the girl.

Even now he was sporting an all black outfit with a thin turtleneck, tight jeans and black ankle boots. All this, and a leather jacket was a guaranteed recipe for getting all the eyes on him. And it worked perfectly, if we count the many whispering groups of highschool and college girls that passed by.

Looking at the slim and tall girls that walked past them sending the two males flirty looks, Seol felt really discouraged. Feeling as if she was not deserving to walk beside her two model-like soulmates, she decided to do something against it.

Arriving home after their stroll, Seol immediately went to her computer to look up fashion and makeup tips and tutorials. The most makeup she could confidently apply was mascara and lipgloss, as her eyeliner always turned out too bold for her liking.

Determined to look worthy of her two soulmates, Seol was ready to even ask help from the mom squad if nothing else helped...but she hoped it wouldn't get to it.

After watching every video in her recommendations for hours, the girl concluded that heavy makeup was indeed not for her. No matter how pretty those ladies ended up, they still looked too fancy for everyday life.

Coming across an article about makeup points, that explained how each product accentuated a facial feature, she learned that having a full face of makeup was not the only correct thing. Crossing out a bunch of unnecessary stuff from her list of makeup products, Seol was left with only two things - mascara and lip products.

The next few days the girl started paying more attention to the makeup products in their company, catching the attention of some of her colleagues. She would look for the formulas of the lipstick bases, be seen picking out pigments or trying out fragrances.

"Are you thinking of making a lipstick? Or maybe a lipgloss?...since you only wear that or balm."

"I wanted to try something new for a change, but I'm not sure what would suit me best." She sighed in defeat as the few years older woman sat across her, looking at the things spread out over her table.

Taking a closer look at the shades and the girl, the woman started removing sample after sample, claiming that they were not right for her skin tone. Seol could only stare in awe, as she had also tried figuring out the exact same thing for the whole morning without success.

"Since your skin is light and you have dark eyes and hair, I'd go with one of these as the base. If you won't feel uncomfortable, I'd suggest to go with deep colours and strong pigments to bring out the natural shape of your lips."

Looking at the magenta, fuchsia pink and wine red colours in front of her made Seol a bit intimidated, but excited at the same time too. She finally had a lead where she could start at, but there was still so much to do.

Her next week was spent experimenting and trying out different combinations, resulting in a whole collection's worth of shades. From matte, sparkly, glossy, holographic to a more sophisticated creamy finish, Seol had tried everything. Using more or less pigments, she created everything from tinted lip balms to lip staining, well, lip tints.

Her mother also caught on to her little project, guessing that the reason for her sudden interest in looking good had something to do with the two boys. Watching as Seol became so serious about it only confirmed her suspicions, but the mother wouldn't dare to tell it to her friends, as she had been warned to behave.

The final product of this research, the raspberry coloured and tasting lipstick was quickly growing on Seol. She had actually made herself four smaller lipsticks for different occasions, the raspberry being her choice for daily use. Staying true to her love for the certain colour and smell it was no surprise that she ended up choosing it this time as well.

Putting the small bottles of makeup on her table, Seol couldn't wait to finally show it to her two boys the next day. And it also happened that it was the day of Hyuck's musical premiere too. The girl felt nervous and giddy about the event, barely getting any sleep that night from the excitement.
