How could she do that!? In front of their families?!

Seol was curled up in a ball beside the bed, feeling embarrassed to face anyone at the moment. Even when footsteps were heard entering before the closing of the door, she didn't move an inch. Smelling the familiar jasmine scent mixed with a musky cologne she immediately knew who was inside the room.

Renjun and Donghyuck couldn't bare to be on the receiving end of their mother's attention, so they quickly escaped the table too. It was less weird when the two were alone, but seeing Seol made both boys nervous. How could they comfort the girl when they also felt burdened with this topic, even if they were to talk among themselves.

Sighing, the two also sat down on the floor, Hyuck leaning his back to the closet door while Renjun's was against the bed. These four walls were currently their safe space, having locked the door of the room. The heavy silence was making them only more anxious.

"Aish, and I thought my mother was the only unreasonable one...turns out all of them are crazy." Hyuck stared at the ceiling, not brave enough to look directly at the other two. He just figured out how he felt about their bond, yet their mothers just had to do this to them.

None of the three was feeling anything more than friendly love towards the others yet, so asking for kids was something unthinkable. Yet, their parents shamelessly did that, knowing very well that they had just started piecing the things together.

"What did they expect?... Do they think just because we bonded we are automatically married and ready for having a family? No...the actual question is, do they even think?" It was Renjun who spoke, and these exact words were playing in Seol's head too.

Just imagining doing something more intimate than holding hands was enough to make the three go blank. It was never a question, and the three would probably have felt disgusted with it, but now it became not only an option, but something that'd feel natural in the future.

Hyuck has had girlfriends, but these were his best friends, some people he never imagined doing more with than cuddling and arguing. But here they were, and his mind started going off to a scary place.

Unlike his soulmates, Donghyuck had had some sort of experience in kissing, which only made it harder for him at the moment. Without intending, his mind started wandering off and wondering how soft Renjun's lips would feel like... Or would Seol's raspberry chapstick taste sweet or a bit sour like the fruit itself...

Realising just what his mind had done, a loud groan left his lips and he banged his head into the door behind him, hoping to get rid of all the images he saw. Looking at the other two, he could see the empty look in Renjun's eyes.

The Chinese male tried to erase the past half an hour from his memory, denying everything that had happened. It was a stupid thing to ask them for anyways, and only brought discomfort to all of them. They weren't ready yet for that talk, or any relationship talk as a matter of fact.

But now those thoughts were forced on them, and it is bound to become awkward between them after this. His main concern though, was the girl still curled up between them. She was shy and very reserved when it came to showing affection to strangers, and right now they were starting from zero again.

Seol was currently feeling a mixture of embarrassment and panic, as her biology and sex education classes started replaying in her head. Why? Why did she have to think about pregnancy and babies, and the whole thing leading to it now?! She wasn't ready for any of it!

Heck, she hasn't even had her first kiss yet, not to mention being in a relationship and in love. So how dare her mother ask her for a grandchild, and that with others around too! Not to mention the fact that she had to fit Renjun and Hyuck into the picture too.

Oh god, what had her mother done!? They wanted to take things easy and slowly get used to everything, but was there any hope for that left? Would they be able to just continue acting like they were just a few hours earlier?

Lifting her head, Seol saw the two boys looking just as distressed as her, both nervously fidgeting. Mustering up her courage, ignoring the strong urge to just crawl under the bed from feeling embarrassed, she decided to speak up.

"Are we really going to stay awkward like this?" Two pairs of eyes turned to her, and she could see relief in them when she finally spoke up. "I don't want this thing to ruin what we've built trough all these years." Relief washed over her when Renjun's pearly whites appeared, a beautiful smile gracing his features.

"Thank god you feel that way! I was on the verge of having a mental breakdown if you had decided that it was too much and you wanted us to start all over." He exclaimed loudly, making the other two chuckle and feel more relaxed.

"I feel like we just had a bucket of cold water thrown at us by those nosy old ladies. And I hate the fact that they chose to ease us into this topic by being so brutal. They probably just wanted to give us a push, seeing as our road had been quite bumpy till now..."

"To hear these words leave your mouth first... Weren't you the one doubting this whole thing until yesterday? What happened now? Did they put some drugs into the food?" Renjun was shocked, holding the other man's shoulders and trying to shake him to his senses.

"Jjunie~ stop shaking me before my dinner decides to greet us again!" It was enough for the shorter to scoot back, watching Hyuck hold his head from feeling dizzy. "Sorry."

The sun had already set outside, which meant that soon their parents would come and look for them. Next morning Seol would have to go to work, getting up early meant going to sleep early too. The guys didn't have anything in the morning, so they could stay awake until everyone was asleep, to avoid unwanted conversation.

Just as this thought crossed Seol's mind, a few knocks were heard from outside, followed by Mr Min's voice. Getting a nod of approval from the girl, Renjun stood up and unlocked the door, letting the older male inside.

"Sorry guys for all the commotion your mothers have caused. I hope it won't make you feel burdened, and you could just ignore everything."

"It's all good Mr Min." Hyuck said, though not having entirely forgiven his mother yet. "Seol, we should get going slowly, your mom is already waiting by the car. But don't worry, I warned her not to poke her nose into anything and threatened her to behave."

"You must have threatened her with something really good this time, if she's actually going to be like that. Did you tell her you'd throw away her favourite shoes? Because she'd go on a killing spree if that happened."

"O-oh, y-yeah, yeah her shoes. That's exactly what it is. I told her that she wouldn't be able to wear them in case she didn't listen. Hahah...yeah, shoes." Mr Min felt a bit flustered from the looks the two boys gave him, and hoped his daughter wouldn't catch on the lies he so obviously said.

Waving a goodbye and grabbing her bag, Seol and her dad were out in seconds, and soon their black car was seen speeding down the road.

Hyuck and Renjun were just staring at eachother, not wanting to believe what they were thinking about. "Are you thinking about the same thing?"

"If you mean her dad poorly trying to cover up the real reason why her mom was so obedient, then yes. God, why do our parents have to be like this?! It's traumatizing enough that I'm aware of what my dad means when he talks about 'persuading' mom to agree with something. Now I know that Seol's dad is the same and I can't get the image out of my head!"

Donghyuck gripped on his hair, asking the skies why they decided to make his parents like that. This was TMI that nobody was curious about, especially not their kids! Renjun just nodded, being glad that his parents liked keeping their private stuff actually private.

"I can't believe Seol is so innocent that she doesn't catch on what is happening."

"Or she's just trying to save herself from being traumatized like you... Or save us from hearing about it."

"Okay, enough of this! We, my dearest friend, are going to play games all night to forget everything that just happened, and I don't accept a no as an answer." Hyuck exclaimed as he pulled out the controllers and started setting up the game.

Their hectic weekend came to an end with the guys gaming until sunrise, and Seol sleeping soundly with her earphones in, listening to her favourite songs.
