Christmas

Seol and her parents left for her grandparents' house on the 23rd, planning to spend the next four days there. The girl secretly left behind some presents for her soulmates, asking Renjun's sister for assistance.

Snow started falling right after her birthday, and the thin layer of white covering the streets hasn't melted since. The relatively big house grandma and grandpa Min lived at was just outside the city, where they also had a big garden at which the cousins loved to play at as kids.

Already seeing two cars parked in front of the entrance, Seol had figured that her relatives had arrived. Her uncle came out to greet them and help with the bags and presents Mrs Min had prepared for everyone. Entering the house, the warmth and the smell of ginger bread instantly made the girl smile.

Finding her grandfather in the living room talking with Jaehyun and Johnny, she went over to greet them enthusiastically. Her grandmother appeared from the kitchen with an apron tied around her, pulling her youngest grandchild into a hug.

"A little birdie has told me that our Seolie had found her soulmate~ and also that it's not only one, but two handsome young men at that!" Grandma Min exclaimed as she continued patting Seol's cheeks, smiling warmly at the grownups that just joined them in the living room.

Hearing this, Seol's aunt, Irene and Taeyong, her cousin's soulmate, came out of the kitchen with curious stares. "Jae! Did you tell them?!" The girl was now blushing at the many eyes being focused on her, angry at her cousin for spilling everything.

"Jae? Did he know about it too?" Their grandmother looked surprised before motioning towards the girl's father, who was looking a little guilty. "Sorry mother, it looks like our Seolie wanted to keep it a secret for a bit."

"But then, how do you know about it Jaehyun-ah?" The grandparents shot him a look, making a cocky smile spread on the male's face as he proudly exclaimed. "For your information, I was the first one to find it out. Seolie told me that even before she let aunt and uncle know."

"I'm not surprised by that knowing just how close these two are." Her aunt said, which made everyone agree and thankfully drop the topic, as lunch was ready.

Even if the majority of the family was rational, her mother's presence seemed to overpower all of them. "Seolie even threatened us that she'll run away and ask Jae to adopt her when we confronted the three!" Her mother's smile was booming and also made the rest around the table smile at the poor girl's hardships.

Was it really necessary for her mom to mention how she found the three soulmates sleeping like babies after partying all night? Although the description of sleeping like cute babies was much better than saying how they were wrapped in each others arms, Seol still didn't like the idea of her mother peeping on them.

This time they were lucky that Mrs Min only saw their faces, as they had pulled up the covers to warm up from the chilly outside air. She didn't see how their hands were intervened, or how comfortably they rested on the each other's waist and hips.

Luckily the lunch didn't last long, and everyone went their own ways, Seol helping her aunt with the dishes. She liked her, as her personality was the same with her dad's, a very loveable woman. Feeling comfortable around her, the girl didn't mind answering a few questions regarding her two soulmates.

Since the sky quickly got dark, despite the bright glow that the thick snow coating the ground gave off, there was nothing to do outside. The family gathered around, grandma Min and Seol's aunt knitting hats and scarves for the family. Seol's mother was in a deep conversation with Irene and Taeyong, probably trying to get some spicy details of their relationships.

Seol, Johnny and Jaehyun were playing games on the console, with the old men of the family watching them. This was more to the girl's liking than talking about shopping or gossiping. Having grown up with Jae and her two best friends, she was more used to computer games and the male company.
