Mrs Min could easily spot the changes in her daughter's behaviour. How she started paying more attention to her clothes and makeup, how her eyes lit up when she would get a message, or how she would spend more time with the two boys.

She was ready to intervene again, ready to give them a slight push, well probably a kick, so they would get together. This plan was stopped by Mrs Huang, the only sane or at least partially sane one of the mothers.

Having the trio spend most time in her house, Renjun's mother tried to reason with her friend and neighbor. She reminded her that the three kids used to be like this all the time, and it was their college schedules that kept them from hanging out this much.

She also added how very boring their sleepovers and hangouts were, as the kids just literally hung out. Donghyuck would play games, Renjun would draw and Seol read a book, and that was all of it. Sometimes they would watch series or movies, but it was nothing that would indicate something more than friendship.

Mrs Min was in denial at first, but when she found out that the three sometimes left the door open and never had a reason to lock the door to Renjun's room made her sigh in defeat. Were those kids really not interested in eachother? They were already at the age where they should be thinking about moving together and getting married!

Mrs Huang just quietly listened to her friend rant, feeling glad that her story wasn't doubted. Of course, most of it was right, but Renjun's mother decided to give the kids a little privacy too.

She saw how the trio would always stick together, how they were more touchy and how comfortable they seemed just cuddled up on the sofa watching series. She caught their hands casually resting on the other's, playing with each others fingers unconsciously a few times, and knew that something was up.

She was feeling proud of protecting the three kids, and wanted to get them all the time to get closer. Her thoughts were interrupted when Mrs Min gasped, as she remembered something important.

"Ah, I almost forgot! Seol's grandparents invited us over for Christmas, as her aunt, uncle and cousins will be coming too. We won't be able to hold a family dinner as we planned initially."

"It's okay, we can always meet up and have food together anyways." Mrs Huang added, not overly bothered by their family dinner, knowing that sooner or later they would eventually spend every Christmas together.

"I was thinking of having a dinner for Seol's birthday since it's coming up. There's a great restaurant where we could go out and celebrate. What do you think?"

"Won't the kids want to do something on their own? Do you know if they have something planned out yet?"

"Seol usually spends her birthdays at home, the three just hang out and drink, so I don't think it would be different. There's still a few weeks left so we should just tell them that we already have a plan."

And so, the mothers decided to make Seol's 23rd birthday party a dinner to celebrate their children's bond properly. It's no wonder that this news had caused the two eldest boys to groan, knowing exactly what kind of doom was awaiting them.

Seol, Renjun and Donghyuck had to start mentally preparing themselves the day they found out about this arrangement. They were set on keeping the progress of their relationship a secret, knowing too well what kind of nonsense their mothers could spout.

"Yah, what do you think about going to the club after the dinner? We'll be needing a drink anyways, so why not have some fun too?" Hyuck added as he was laying on the sofa, head on Seol's lap, who has been trying to braid his hair.

"The club? I don't even know which clubs are there or which ones are good. You're the only wild one in our group that has been clubbing before." Renjun deadpanned while walking back from the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn, sitting down in the armchair beside the sofa.

"I know a good place, and I can even reserve us a booth so that we have some space. What do you say? The dinner won't last long anyways." The tan male smiled beautifully at his two soulmates, making them give in to his cuteness.

"Okay, but I am drinking too. I don't want to play babysitter for your drunk asses on my birthday." Seol said earning a small laugh from the man on her lap, before both agreed on being responsible that night.

"It's going to be your birthday as well as your and Jjunie's first club visit, so you can let go and enjoy yourself. I'll make sure that you two stay safe and don't do anything stupid if you get drunk." Hyuck enthusiastically said, immediately going up to the computer, looking for the club's website to reserve their booth.

"I'm still a bit sceptical about this, but if it makes him happy then why not. But I have no idea what to wear to a club, or what your mother will ask us to wear for dinner." He moved to the now empty sofa, sitting beside the girl, who instinctively leaned her head on his shoulder and hugged his arm.

"We'll just ask Hyuckie to help us out since he knows that place. And about the dinner, I don't think we'll have to dress up too much for it. But if we do have to, we can always stop by at home, change into something more adequate and then go to wherever he leads us to."

A body yeeted itself on their laps as the smiling male proudly exclaimed that he had reserved the best spot for them, along with a big bottle of champagne. Not caring about the groans from his soulmates that were being squished, he turned around and comfortably started watching the series playing.

Dinner was, just as expected, CHAOTIC. Seol's mother had reserved the table at a nice place, which required somewhat presentable clothes too. Hearing about the trio's plan to go out after the dinner, nobody really had any complaints as long as dinner was finished.

Thanks to a long talk from their fathers, that warned their wives to behave, the dinner was able to be enjoyable. Not wanting the birthday girl to run away in the middle of it, the women had avoided inappropriate questions.

"Happy birthday darling!" Seol's dad hugged her after she had blown out the candles on the cake. "We have prepared a present that's waiting for you at home, and we also prepared a small present for the three of you too." Mrs Lee stood up and gave Seol an envelope that confused the girl.

Donghyuck was leaned over, curious about the contents of the little pink envelope, thus he ushered the girl to take a look inside. The inside contained three train tickets and a neatly written letter. "Train tickets?"

"Yes, and also a reservation at a ski resort. You'll be spending five nights there including new year's! Isn't that great?!" Seol's mom beamed as the kept looking at the trio's confused faces.

Renjun took the tickets as well as the letter, trying to find something fishy about this present, but nothing. Feeling his mother pat his shoulder, he finally relaxed and actually started looking forward to the trip.

The possibility of them getting a honeymoon suite was highly probable, but even that didn't matter. They would get to spend a few days at a ski resort, enjoying the nature and having fun in the snow. It would be like the continuation of their camping, just without worries this time.
