After their talk Renjun and Seol returned to how they were before all the drama started. Agreeing with what Renjun's sister had advised them, Seol also believed that taking it step by step would be the best. For the time being, the two were just best friends doing best friend stuff during the warm summer days.

Donghyuck was still not talking to them, but Seol suggested that her and Jjun talk over their group chat, making the tan male not feel left out. Hyuck had been pretty busy ever since he got back from his visit to Jeju, getting a role in a musical.

The tan male spent his days practicing his lines, rehearsing with the other actors and gaming late into the night. His phone being muted, because the constant notification sounds from the spamming in their GC were distracting him from work. He never intended to leave it on mute for longer than that one practice, but after a long day he had, it simply slipped his mind.

Renjun had received some work too, after making a web page and posting some of his art. It was mainly work to design some sites, leaflets or logos, but he also got a few requests for portraits and paintings. He liked the versatility of the tasks, and enjoyed spending hours drawing and colouring things.

Seol started working at her mother's company, doing an internship and getting to know the workers. She liked the atmosphere there, and quickly found herself a corner in the lab, where she could work on her own concoctions.

She would spend every second evening at her neighbour's house, chatting and gaming with Renjun. It reminded them of when they were smaller and always had sleepovers, the three of them together.

As the weekend was nearing the two decided to go on a trip to the beach, as the temperatures had risen once again after the few rainy weeks, and it was barely bearable.

Not forgetting to leave all the details in their group chat for their sunshine, the two were excited to go to the sea. Looking up nice places where they could go, their trip was perfectly planned and just waiting for the big day to arrive.

It was already the last weekend of August and the summer was slowly coming to an end. Renjun had his bag packed for their three day and two night trip, waiting for Seol to return from work. They had decided to just take the whole weekend off, renting a tent at a glamping site near the beach and just rest.

Seol arrived back home a little after 2pm and quickly grabbed something to eat before texting the Chinese male that she was ready to go. Having everything packed in a duffel bag, she put on her big sunhat and locked the door behind herself after exiting the house.

The two smiled at eachother before walking to the nearby bus station, deciding to ditch their cars and travel by bus and train. This way both of them could relax and enjoy the landscape around Seoul until arriving by the beach.

Donghyuck was still keeping his distance from the other two, having no time to worry about their problems when he had rehearsals every evening. He's been busy with the musical and spent a lot of time with his fellow actors.

Having his college senior and good friend Doyoung also in the piece made his day much more entertaining. He would annoy the older male and enjoy teasing him, getting the funniest reactions in return. It might have been the fact that the said senior had similar reactions to a certain Chinese male when teased, but Hyuck really grew attached to the bunny looking man.

He has been so busy with work and his new friends, that Hyuck really forgot the fact that he muted his group chat with his best friends WEEKS ago. He simply brushed it off as them giving him time, and just messaging eachother privately since he never answered them.

Admitting the later did made him feel a little hurt, maybe more than just a little, but he trusted Renjun not to abandon him.

Exiting the train station Renjun and Seol decided to go to the nearest market and get all the food they'd need the next two days. Buying meat, vegetables, some rice and noodles as well as drinks, the two had both of their hands full with bags. Armed with enough to survive the next 48 hours, they boarded a bus that'd take them to the glamping site.

Seeing the many tents and huts spread out across the big park was very fascinating, and they were eager to get to their own little housing. Getting a map and the direction told by the manager of the site after checking in and paying, the duo followed one of the small paths up to a white tent.

Just like on the picture online, they had four chairs and a table along with a grill on their small terrace. The living/sleeping area had a king size bed and some heating mattresses, so the ones sleeping on the floor would not feel cold even in cooler weather. The inside could easily fit three adults or parents with two kids, which was big enough for the two.

Discovering the gas stove, fridge, cooking utensils and cutlery was also a relief, since the two totally forgot to bring any. After storing their food safely and changing into some comfortable clothing, both Seol and Renjun were laying sprawled out on the wooden floor of their tent.

Enjoying the cool feeling of it was heavenly, especially after the hot ride in the bus that had no AC. The two decided to take a nap while the sun was still scorching hot outside, and would go exploring later in the afternoon.
