Jaebeom was woken up by the loud chatter filling the car. His eyes fluttered open, his vision clearing to Jinyoung and Jackson yapping on and on about who knows what with one another. He stretched and yawned, looking over to his side, spotting Youngjae who happened to be awake as well.

He then glanced out the window at their surroundings, realizing that they were pulled in front of a hotel. He sat up, quickly pulling himself together.

"Ah, thanks Jinyoung. I guess we'll stay here for a couple of nights..."

Jinyoung glanced back at the latter who had rudely interrupted his conversation with Jackson, carelessly waving his hand. "Yeah yeah whatever, take care and stuff, call me if you need anything. And don't be stupid, please?"

"According to you, I'm always stupid..." Jaebeom grumbled.

Jackson laughed at the comment, also turning back toward Jaebeom and the hybrid. "Take care, and thanks a lot again..."

"Don't mention it." Jaebeom gave him a warm smile, then turned to Youngjae. "Come on Youngjae, put on your hoodie, we're gonna go get a room."

"So... not home yet?" Youngjae asked.

Jaebeom faltered, awkwardly scratching his head. "If you mean my apartment, then no... not yet. Everything that happened needs some time to clear up, so for now let's head up! I'll get a much nicer room than before!"

Youngjae let out a sigh, finally taking off his seatbelt. "Fine..."

Jaebeom's smile quickly fell as he realized the latter's disappointment. There was not much he could do to fix that though. He stepped out of the car with Youngjae, the two giving their final greetings to Jinyoung and Jackson before the car pulled off. Jaebeom had enough money for at least 2 - 3 more nights, which by then hopefully BamBam would have cleared up all of the commotions.

The pair walked up to the front desk, Jaebeom leading so he could do most of the talking.

"Hi, can I just get a room for a couple of nights?"

The receptionist glanced up at him, swiftly nodding and turning to tap at her computer. "Sure we have some available... how many beds are you looking for?"

Jaebeom hummed, glancing back at Youngjae. Surely the latter would want more space to stretch his long legs. "Two, if available?"

"We do have a two-bed room available."

"One."

Jaebeom jolted, glancing back at the hybrid whose voice he hadn't expected to hear.

"Just one bed not two..." Youngjae whined.

Jaebeom felt his skin blooming pink with embarrassment as the receptionist stared at the two in wait for their final decision.

"Uh, b-but another bed would give us more room-"

"I don't need more room, do you?"

The latter faltered, slowly turning back to the receptionist. "Um, well I-I guess we're doing one bed then."

She simply minded her business and continued to tap at her computer, setting up the booking and payment. Once all was taking care of, the two were wished a great stay and handed a key card to their room on the 2nd floor.

Jaebeom hurried away to the elevator to mask his embarrassment while Youngjae followed along satisfied.

"Don't speak when not spoken to, okay?" Jaebeom mumbled once they were safely alone in the elevator.

"I just said what I wanted. I can't speak now?" Youngjae asked.

"No that's not what I meant--" Jaebeom sighed as he massaged the bridge of his nose. "I just don't want unnecessary attention brought to you, that's all."
