"I told you I don't like baths!" Youngjae exclaimed as Jaebum dragged him to the showers in the lab facility.

Youngjae was incredibly strong, and Jaebum barely stood a chance without using all of his strength to tug the hybrid down the long fluorescent corridors.

"I know Youngjae, but if I'm gonna be taking you outside every day and you roll around on the ground like you did earlier, then washing has to become a norm for you." Jaebum replied through grit teeth as he tugged hard at the hybrid's arm.

"If I didn't like you I'd bite you so hard right now!" Youngjae proclaimed, his fingers gripping onto the door of the shower room to prevent himself from going inside.

"Youngjae please, work with me here. You've been so good up until now, be good for me." Jaebum pleaded, giving another hard tug at his arm.

Youngjae's fingers slipped, the hybrid nearly taking a dive into the tiled floor if it weren't for him quickly catching his balance.

"Why are you doing this to me! I told you I hated baths, you're betraying me!" Youngjae retorted, jolting as the heavy metal door slammed behind him.

Jaebum sighed, releasing the hybrid from his grasp so he could lock the door and prevent any intruders. "Don't be dramatic Youngjae, did you learn that from Jinyoung too? Sounds exactly like him."

"I learned a lot from watching him... I hear whining usually gets you what you want." Youngjae's eyes followed Jaebum as he spoke, obviously hoping that his puppy dog look would add effect to his protests. "Please, no bathing~?"

The most Youngjae got in return was an eye roll. He was adorable, and the whining would've definitely worked if this weren't so important. Despite Jinyoung's words, Jaebum intended on teaching Youngjae how to be a proper independent human being, and what better place to start than washing off the dirt from the day.

The shower room was dimly lit, which seemed counterproductive considering the dangers of being in a room where anyone could slip and fall, but the lighting fixtures looked old so of course the bulbs most likely hadn't been changed in years. The showers were aligned on each side of the room, with no dividers in between, which was also a bit off putting. There was absolutely no privacy here, but the room was probably used mostly for rinsing chemicals off one's body, which didn't take long to do. This was a lab, anyway.

Jaebum dragged Youngjae to the shared showering room in hopes of an easy quick rinse, but the hybrid was already making things more difficult than he intended them to be.

"Youngjae, I'm in charge of you, so that means when I'm serious about something, you have to do it. I'm serious about this, you're getting washed whether you like it or not." Jaebum stated firmly. It felt like he was scolding a kid or something, and in some ways, Youngjae was just as clueless and innocent about certain things as any other 10 year old out there despite his early 20's appearance. "This is important for your health. Do you wanna die from some weird disease or something?"

"I-I can die?" The hybrid questioned, cocking his head to the side.

Jaebum caught his attention now, and though he was exaggerating a tad, if it helped get Youngjae to cooperate then it would be worth it in the end. "Mhm, you could die from strange bacteria on your body, stuff that's not supposed to be there, getting inside of you and killing you. You'll feel awful and suffer a lot of pain, I don't want that for you, and I'm sure you don't want it either."

"Of course I don't." Youngjae quickly responded. He let out a conflicted sigh, his eyes dropping to the tiles. "You aren't lying to me, are you?"

Jaebum immediately shook his head. "I've never lied to you before! I'm caring for your health, washing is essential. You don't have to like it, you just have to do it."
