Jaebeom knocked out after Youngjae's attack on him, not that he didn't enjoy every minute of it, but he was literally drained; and after taking a warm shower it was a battle to keep his lids open. He ended up sleeping early to the sound of Youngjae eating the lunch he didn't finish earlier and the dinner he ordered for the hybrid before passing out.

For some reason, he thought maybe what had happened was a dream. He had been having... interesting dreams involving him and the hybrid on occasion. But he remembered what happened so vividly; from the hybrid's big hands to his soft warm lips; Jaebeom went to sleep drunk on the whirlwind of feelings Youngjae caused within him.

He woke up the next morning unable to move much, mostly due to being cradled within Youngjae's arms. The hybrid curled himself around Jaebeom at some point in the night, and of course Jaebeom slept soundly engulfed in his warmth.

He was initially drowsy when his eyes cracked open to the morning sun shining through the motel windows, only for his cheeks to flush red when he realized his back was pressed against the hybrid's expansive chest.

He felt warmth fill his chest, his heart pounding against his ribcage. Part of him weirdly wanted to stay just like that; or even spend the entire day wrapped in Youngjae's arms. Yet another part of him nagged at him that he shouldn't be having such thoughts. The side of him that recognized Youngjae as the hybrid he was created as made him wonder if the connection he and the hybrid were forming between them should exist in the first place. Should his heart beat so fast around Youngjae? Should he enjoy being pressed against that large muscular body? Should he crave to be touched again by those big hands and warm lips--?

Jaebeom shook himself out of it; his mind was wandering to dirtier places again. He gently scooted himself away from Youngjae, trying to escape the trap of muscular arms he was caught in.

"Don't go."

Jaebeom jolted as he was tugged back, the arms around his waist tightening while Youngjae hummed comfortably against his ear. His heart leapt out of his chest; he could already feel his face heating up.

"I-I should get up, Youngjae..."

"No..." The hybrid groaned lazily, shifting his face into the crook of Jaebeom's neck. He took in a deep breath, sighing contently.

Jaebeom shuddered, the hybrid's warm breaths sending goosebumps along his skin. Jaebeom felt himself melting second by second, and he knew spending another moment curled up like that would ultimately lead to his defeat.

He frantically squirmed out of Youngjae's arms, the hybrid groaning as he slipped out of his grasp. "I gotta get some breakfast, d-don't you want food? And um, y-you should get yourself up too. It's a good habit to get out of bed rather than lay there."

Youngjae whined, his eyes fluttering open to show off those pretty golden orbs. He shamelessly pouted, the puppy eyes he received quite literally piercing his heart, and somehow his mind was already revisiting the memory of kissing the hybrid. Jaebeom couldn't hold eye contact for long or else he'd be drawn in like a magnet.

"Okay..." Youngjae sighed in defeat, rolling on his back and stretching, though he kept his eyes curiously trained on Jaebeom. "Why is your face pink?"

"I-Is it like that?" The latter instinctively touched his cheeks, turning away from Youngjae's view. Jaebeom cleared his throat, awkwardly shifting his weight as he stood from the bed. "I-I was uh... thinking of something..."

"Like what?"

"Nothing!" Jaebeom frantically shook his head, ridding himself of those impure thoughts. "I'm... gonna go check my email."
