Taehyun's Birthday

Soobin make sure that Taehyun's 20th birthday will be very lively, despite of the fact that the younger is not capable on seeing the balloons, or tasting the sweetness of his strawberry cake. He just want to give his brother the ultimate presence he could give.

However, sadness struck towards the older male. He realize that Taehyun turns into legality without fully enjoying it, without friends. Soobin cannot help himself but to cry, many opportunities was already taken away from his brother and he doesn't want more of them to get wasted.

This time, he will do everything to begged the heavens.

Soobin place a small birthday hat on his brother and start lighting up the cake's candles. The older male make sure to sing the birthday song loudly and alive.

"Happy 20th Birthday Taehyun!!!" A wish was made before Soobin could finally blew all the candles.

The male cheered loudly as tears fall down through his cheeks, meeting the depth of his dimples. He pop the confetti and colorful papers was scattered on the room.

Soobin laugh a bit from his silly ideas but it is the only thing he could do for now. On top of that, He promise himself and his brother that they will celebrate eachother's birthday no matter what.

Suddenly, the happy emotions start to drop, as he stare at his brother in that usual state. " Taehyun ah~ Smile it's your birthday! Hyung promise to do it again! just please wake up a bit faster hmm? "

He caressed the younger's head softly, stroking the strands of his grown hair.   After that the older set himself on the table to eat the delicious cake, alone again.

Beomgyu's PoV.

" Hello I'm the guardian of Kai Huening, can you tell me what room he is? " I asked the information desk worriedly.

It was early this evening when  Hueningkai last texted me to inform that he'll be practicing again with his co-skaters.

Until i received a call from his friend, it was already midnight when they told me that Kai fell from his board and got injured.

I didn't even mind the time and straightly went to the hospital he was admitted to.

" Room no. 25 near the west wings' ICU " The nurse said politely and i bowed in return. I walk passed through the hospital corridors and found the ICU. But it seems that I'm a bit lost.

" There's no room 25 here " I scan each room and it's was all an isolation room. Maybe i heard it wrong, or the instructions are inaccurate.

I turn my footsteps back to exit the ICUs corridor, until, one unit occupied my attention.

Visibly on it's wide windows, The room was quite big, it contains alot of machines and a person who was peacefully sleeping on the bed.

"Oh..the person was on coma? " I asked out of curiosity and start to secretly peak my eyes on their room.

Then my heart started to feel an unusual feeling, it was very heavy all of the sudden. I felt very sad.

One of the family, friend? of the patient carries a cake and start chanting the birthday song to the man who's laying.

Without knowing, my hands started to clap quietly, and my mouth start to sing the song along with him.

I felt pity. It must be painful to see your loveones near through the chase of death. It must be a lil bad to barge into their situation but " I wish for his consciousness to come back " The cake candles was blown by the family member and smiled.

I also smile through the soft yet painful scene i have witness and decided to went back on my original agenda.

" I was supposed to find and worry about Hueningkai, such a dumbo Beomgyu! " I said into myself and start to move my feet, finding Hueningkai.

Exciting the halls, Hueningkai crossed my path, he was standing with his dextrose and a bandage on his full left arm.

"You child! I told you not to overdo yourself! " I got carried away the moment i saw his injury, my mouth start to scold him and soft punch landed on his chest.

Hueningkai just laugh a bit and respond, " Hyung? Why are you here?, I'm alright. It's just a small injury. "

I got mad from his statement and start to bombard him with more scoldings.
This kid will never fail to gave me an heart attack. "Small injury? Your left arm was fully casted! Tell me it's not a fracture or I'll loose it "

Hueningkai grab my hand towards his  hospital bed, he just sighed. By that, my head jump into conclusions and when I was about to cry, he laughed hard.

I raise a brow on him and he start removing his cast from his hands. WTH!?

Hueningkai's arm was not damage at all, no bruise and no single cuts, they're just look so swollen from the cast wrappings.

" Why you little piece of..Your pranks can literally kill me! " I spank his head and he just died on his bed laughing.

" I said I'm fine hyung, i just passed out. My laboratory and x-ray came already the doctors said that no bones break from my body." Hueningkai explained making my heart felt atleast at ease.

" You shouldn't overdo yourself. Trust the process and dont rush things out okay? You're doing great. " I said and it makes him smile, like a cute puppy he was.

I knew him very well, when he's determine, he will not stop to achieve what goal he was seeking for. Not to cross my lines, but i felt that he must get some rest from skating for a while. Yet, no matter how much i love to see my bestfriend rock on track, a part of me was always scared for his safety.

" Do you mind considering to stop ... for a while. " I asked calmly and he just stare at me blankly.

Nothing came out from his lips, basically he didn't want to agree on my suggestion. " it's okay, no matter what, I'll be there for you and I'm very proud of you.".... Like, always.
