Taehyun's PoV

Today is the day. With my casual attire, i silent walk on the grounds of myeongdong plaza, holding a Little gift that i will he giving him today.

Nerve wrecking, I walk passed different stalls to finally arrived at the exact location, The coffee shop. As I enter the cafe i quickly went upstairs to search him on the balcony table, but he was no where to be seen.

"Maybe he's just late"

I set myself on the table and patiently wait for him to show up. It was quite early in the morning, maybe he overslept or it's just the traffic?.

Not to think negative thoughts, but i cannot help myself to get nervous and create 'what if questions' in my head.

Hours had passed and i started to get impatient nor worried. I even finished the drink I ordered for the two of us, But Still, there's no sign of Choi Beomgyu.

I stared at the gift that was tightly griped by my hands, my mood sank like a sailor's boat, the rage of sadness occupied my deep ocean.

' He didn't came.. '

Standing from the chair and walking passed the exit. Once again, I'm found on the middle of the myeongdong plaza, but this time Im walking back home with a heavy heart.

"Maybe he had emergency, or other more important schedule for today."

I stop on my track and take a deep breathe, not noticing that the gift I've has already dropped on the ground. Then a sudden familiar voice was heard.

"Pick it up, you're supposed to give it to me right?"

I turn around in a motion and finally saw the person i am longing for, Choi Beomgyu.

Beomgyu smiled brightly as he stare directly into my shocked eyes. I slowly grab the gift from the ground and met his face once again.

" He's real, he's really here right??"

"Uhm Hi, I guess you already knew who i am. I'm—"

Without even thinking or blinking twice, my feet run towards him and wrap him close into my chest. And i whispered.

" Beomgyu.... I'm Sorry "  tears left out from my eyes as the unspoken word already came out from my mouth.

His warmth, his breathing, his scent, everything about him is the same. Him that i miss. Him that i lost and found once again. My heart beats even more faster the way it was beating before, an electric current strikes on my body as i envelope him with a genuine hug. It's really him. This time it's real and i can feel it.

"Uhm..." Beomgyu finally move himself out from my embrace and i started to reflect just what i did. And that was freaking reckless.

"Sorry, I just.. uhm Really I'm sorry, I'll just see you again som- time just .. omg I'm so sorry." I said in such disappointment for myself and start footsteps away from him but he suddenly yelled me to stop.

"wait.. don't go, please..." Beomgyu said. My legs became numb, weakend.  But not that too long when i found myself back to him again.

Beomgyu and I finally set on the table to had a nice and formal talk. I sense Beomgyu's soft gaze on mine and i started to heat up in embarrassment, he's making me flutter, those eyes were beautiful as ever.

"I'm not freak. But, let me introduce myself, I'm Kang Taehyun. You had the right to get mad because I've honestly stalking you for the past few weeks, but seriously I'm not a maniac. I just want...i just want..."

I look again in his eyes and he was gently paying attention to what i am saying. I took a deep breath before saying the purpose of my actions. Let's just hope that this won't ruin anything.

"I want you to stay safe..."

Beomgyu find my last few words shocking, he even drop the straw from his playful hands. I look down on my feet and somewhat understand his reaction. I can't blame him.

" Why? "  Beomgyu finally spoke, he was still calm.

I found it hard to answer my question because I can't say the truth to him just yet. I can mixed what happened in that imaginary world from this reality. I need to keep boundaries, it's best for the both of us.

" I don't think i can say it, but i promise I'm not a bad person" I tried to cover it up but..

"How can i trust you? i barely know you, and when i ask, you keep giving me shallow answers. I don't get it Taehyun. Just Tell me."

Answers were unavailable to come out from my mouth, i remain shut for minutes until he started to glare at me  to search some answers. He's getting mad.

"I'm sorry, i cant for now." I said with a heavy heart, i saw his face in unreadable expression, i know that he's confused, and disappointed.

"Then there's nothing to go on Taehyun. Look i ask you here because your presence keeps bugging me... but in a nice way. I know that you're the one who's sending me gifts, the clothes, the books and everything. But i really need to know why......."

"I just can't say it Beom, I'm so sorry, i will not follow, gifted you or bother you again." I said in deep soft voice, someday I'll be able to tell you the truth, but for now i want to see you close, just once.

"Why Taehyun?.... Why am i not angry because you invade my privacy, why do i keep smiling on your presence, and why are you  making me feel something great even though i barely know you!? just why? it makes me crazy...."

Upon hearing those words, my eyes start to water. He feel it too, he felt the same way. I don't know how can i answer his questions but atleast i need to be frank.

" Give me a word Taehyun... An answer, A reason!?"

My vision were blurry but i can see him clearly, I look up into his eyes and gently cup his soft cheeks. The feeling never left, it always had been there.

" I love you "
