Beomgyu froze from his seat, not once, absolutely never in his life, he heard that word. He never received that kind of word from anyone, Taehyun was the first.

"I- You loved me?" Beomgyu asked and Taehyun found no other solution but to look down into his feet.

Taehyun finally look into the eyes of the older male, gentle and soft. Beomgyu was close to form tears but he just keep himself low as for this moment.

"I- I've been looking after you for a very long time"

"And all those times you didn't came to show up?"

Taehyun sighed from the frustrations, He cannot speak the real truth, but he can express how much Beomgyu mean to him, and how much he loved the older boy from both different timelines. Nothing has changed, Taehyun still felt that butterflied in his stomach, the nervousness from his voice and the sync heartbeats from their chest. The love was still and always been there.

"Loving you from afar is enough for me. "

And Beomgyu started to feel that rush from his eyes, how can a stranger and a love-stalker make him feel wonders inside. He was too carried away from the words and he didn't even knew how to absorb it well.

" That's just what i wanted to hear. And also.. uhm thank you for your efforts and time, but i guess i need to figure out if i am deserving for your love and attention. Everything comes too fast, and we're skipping some chaps here. I'll think about it, hope you understand"

Beomgyu said in a very apologetic yet nice tone, obviously he didn't want to shut the boy out, but he also need time to ask himself and to breathe.

On the other hand, Taehyun fully understand the situation, he knows the fact that it is awkward to met a stranger who's deeply inlove with you. He thought that if Beomgyu is now shocked from that, how can he even more process to absorb the real truth?

Maybe Soobin was right, Taehyun needs to wait everything to fall into place, right time will eventually come, he knew that.

"I understand, I'm sorry.. don't worry I'll stay way from–" Taehyun was cut by Beomgyu's words.

"I acknowledge your admiration, I--  please just give time to absorb."

Taehyun had that little hope, He smile and just gave beomgyu a soft glance in response.

" Thank you for your time, Taehyun... but i gotta go, it was nice meeting you" Beomgyu said and he lend a hand towards Taehyun.

The younger had finally given the chance to touch his hand but he refused, instead he grab the gift and place it gently on the older's hand.

Beomgyu raise a brow and just smile when Taehyun finally set the small gift, it was a notebook, a diary that beomgyu secretly loves.

"It was nice meeting you too, Beomgyu"

It's been 3 days since Taehyun and Beomgyu met, yes, not to deny the fact that their talk has became more intense as Beomgyu questions Taehyun's appearance. Yet and Surprisingly, on that day, the younger boy was in a great luck.

" So, i think we should go now. Sorry again for invading your privacy. I'm grateful that i had the chance to talk— "

" Maybe we can be friends? "

That moment was still linked inside Taehyun's head, he's getting one step at a time closer to Beomgyu and this time he didn't took lapses and mess things out.
