REASONS • TAEGYU

Beomgyu wondered in his little home, it's been almost 2 weeks and Taehyun had no sign at all. It's not that they're dating to update eachother or something but it's very odd for beomgyu since he's already used on the morning text and calls from the younger.

Hueningkai on the other hand was affected, not romantically, but maybe a bit. Just like today, he's spending time with his bestfriend, playing some video games, but the older seemed too busy with his thoughts.

The controller drop from Beomgyu's hand many times but he just shrug it off and come up with a lame excuse that his hands were "sweaty". An old trick to believe in.

"Hyung.."

Hueningkai finally got it, he drop his controller which causes Beomgyu to move his attention.

Beomgyu look so fine on the outside, smiling at him, but he felt that his bestfriend was fighting a concept inside his head

"Speak"

"About what?" unbothered, beomgyu continue to play and just ignore Hueningkai's words making the younger's face plastered a stern look.

"Stop that, i know that there's something bugging you" Hueningkai said snatching the controller from Beomgyu.

"Hey— That's mean! I'm playing the last stage..." Beomgyu fight against Hueningkai's arm just to get the controller back and also to avoid the sudden interrogation that the younger is up to.

Of course he doesn't want to lie on his bestfriend but he was embarrassed to share his thoughts. Specially about this matter, he don't even know how to start talking about his worries for taehyun. After all, he's still not sure about his feelings, Kai might misunderstood.

"It's nothing seriously" Beomgyu defend in return but Hueningkai straight his posture up to glare at him.

"You never lie to me, but i guess this is the first..." Hueningkai stated in disbelief, in hopes that his bestfriend would give in and open up his worries to him. But he was wrong.

"It's not like that, I— I still need to figure it out first okay?" Beomgyu stood up from the floor and slowing his footsteps towards the kitchen to calm down his thoughts.

Hueningkai was left on the floor, holding the controller. Of course, he knows his limitations as Beomgyu's friend. But he also knows when the older already needs a shoulder or a listener. It has been visible in Beomgyu's face that he was stressed out and Hueningkai can stand it, atleast he wants to offer help.

Hueningkai stood and walk to follow Beomgyu on the kitchen, he found the older boy leaning on the table while drinking a cup of refreshments.

Beomgyu's eyes were puffed, not from crying but maybe from staying up all night thinking about something, someone. Adding that Beomgyu's weight also drops from his vision. These facts just made Kai so worried about him, and it can't help him but to intrude Beomgyu for a bit.

"Okay I'm sorry. If you need help come to me, if you need someone to talk to just call me, remember that I'll always be here hyung, always" Kai let himself cool it down for the both of them, making Beomgyu almost burst in tears from his words, he really don't deserve the angel Infront of him.

"Sorry, I may look overreacting, but honestly it's nothing that big. Just  occupied by thoughts. Thanks Kai" Beomgyu replied reaching Hueningkai's hand to give a soft squeeze.

Hueningkai finally got the assurance he needs. He may not know what it is completely but he trust the boy, and if ever does Beomgyu lied to him, he will completely treat him the same. That's what Beomgyu mean to him.

"Sorry, i just want to assure that Mi Yoon is not bothering you, I'm so worried after that day you told me about her plans." Hueningkai defended.

Beomgyu now adds another thought on his head, Hueningkai was right, Taehyun may show up soon if he truly meant the love he promise to Beomgyu. But Mi Yoon is another person to watch, it's odd that she's not doing anything evil yet. And honestly it was very terrifying, you wouldn't know when will she attacks.
