A Quiet Afternoon indeed for Beomgyu and Hueningkai.

After some talks, the older decided to give Kai the spare room to use until his flight to Tokyo, the younger would not decline to the offer as he really wants to stay with his bestfriend before he compete international.

Kai thought that it would be great if He could bring Beomgyu along in his tournaments, but duly because he respect his bestfriend's space he would not mind to ask him. After all, he already had a boyfriend and other priorities. For him, seeing Beomgyu in all out support on his dream was far enough to make him smile and win the competition.

"You're in a deep thought" Beomgyu place a hot bowl of caramelized popcorn in front of the younger and they both flop into the sofa to chew.

Hueningkai just smile and hummed, not wanting to voice out his thoughts

"What's wrong? is it too sweet? not cooked? tastes like burnt??" Beomgyu worriedly ask as if there's wrong with his cooked popcorn. Yet, the younger just chuckled at him

"Hyung calm down it's not about the popcorn, it's delicious actually." The younger said and Beomgyu raise his brow "Then why is your face looked like it tastes bad or something?"

" I'm just, quite feeling a little bit exhausted today. A rest will do hyung" He replied gently.

Beomgyu fixed his posture and slowly grab the younger's head, leaning it forward on his shoulders "rest, I'll accompany you till it gets better"

Kai melted with those words, it was sweeter than the popcorns has made. He smiled and just lean his head on Beomgyu's shoulder, slowly drifting into sleep.

Beomgyu treasures these kind of moments so much. Through ups and down Kai was the one who was there and now he felt that the days are counting towards their farewell. He wish he could be right next to his friend as always.

But Beomgyu is pretty much aware that is not going to happen, Kai has a dream to chase, and Him got a future with Taehyun. It may be the case, yet Beomgyu will do everything to show how he value friendship.

"Hyung, when I left please be happy, but don't forget me" Kai said with a cute chuckle, Beomgyu sense that the chuckle was a bit of, it was filled with sadness.

" I'll be on your 1st competition so better give your best shot!" Beomgyu said making the air between them a bit warm and calm

"Promise?" Kai lift his head staring at Beomgyu's eyes and the older smile, "Promise!"

After some time, Hueningkai finally drifted to sleep on his own room, while Beomgyu try his best not to rock the unit as he play his games

"Ah, this equipment is so sloppy to use! what a waste of money"

He almost yelled in frustrations but then his phone lit up, receiving a text from his beloved boyfriend

"Love, I'm on my way to your unit, do you want something?"

" Just arrive here safely hehe <3 "

"Ice cream it is, of course, ily"

"ily"

Beomgyu smiled from ear to ear as he put down his phone

heard the door rang, "that's fast, expecting someone my dearest cousin?" Mi yoon was on the door, smiling devilishly.

Beomgyu felt like he's been freeze, and he cannot process once again. Fear makes his eyes and lips tremble, he's completely helpless.

Mi Yoon pushed Beomgyu's shoulder to enter the house and toss her bag on the sofa, she sat crossing her feet and asked Beomgyu to sit across her.

" Oh come on, you're still angry at me? there's nothing wrong in my words -" Mi Yoon obviously play innocent once again and Beomgyu was so tired of it, even if he wanted to cut ties with his cousin, her cousin itself finds a way to connect.

"What do you want this time?" Beomgyu said in annoyance

Mi Yoon got her lips curve into a smile, " Not being so polite now huh? Why? Am I forbidden to see you my favorite cousin"

"Cut the dramas, I have no time on this Yoon, can you just leave me alone!" Beomgyu shout in frustrations

Mi Yoon stood up on her high inch heels and walk towards Beomgyu, "How's living in this apartment? I highly doubt you can eat three times a day? Aren't you unemployed? "

"I can provide myself for living decently, and so what if I am unemployed? that's none of your business..." Beomgyu defended.

"Wow.... honestly, Im always jealous of you Beomgyu, you got talent, brains and even lots of people look up yo you but you're weak. Now I see why I end up being so successful than you, you are nothing like a weak bitch in our family" Mi yoon push Beomgyu's head by her finger making the boy feel so degraded.

Beomgyu cannot help but to feel useless in Mi Yoon's words, He cannot fight or even rebut for his own sake. Maybe she's right, he was weak.

"Is that all? you can now go-"

"Pity, okay then... Grandmas' will held a reunion on sunday, and if you still had shame on yourself you will not go. People like you is such a disgrace-"

"Shut up! Go away now!!!" Beomgyu's tear slip on his eyes and Mi Yoon face shows victory, Beomgyu pushed Mi yoon away from him and the woman gets angry from the action.

" What the hell! how dare you push me!" Mi Yoon raise her hand to slap Beomgyu until Hueningkai and Taehyun appear from her back. Taehyun grab the women's wrist until his nails took a dig, while Kai was ready to hit her with a board.

"What are you doing let me go!!!"

Taehyun release her harshly that cause her stumble on the floor. "Leave my husband alone"

"excuse me!?"

" I don't have to repeat myself, or you really want to get out of this room bleeding" Taehyun sternly said making Mi Yoon look at them in anger and disgust

"Have fun playing with your boys Beomgyu, suits you right...gay slut" Mi Yoon stated as she shut the door leaving the 3 males inside.

Beomgyu can't think straightly as all of Mi Yoon's words rang into his head, until his mind and body couldn't take it anymore, he collapsed on the ground.
