Chapter: 42

I wake up Friday morning all excited for the weekend. I grab my plaid skirt, white button down, a white sweater and I walk to the bathroom. After washing up, brushing my teeth, putting my hair in a high pony tail, which has become a regular thing since the school changes, I put on my uniform. I put on some light makeup and the earrings Patrick gave me for homecoming and my ring. I slip on my black flats and it grab my school stuff.

My mom and dad are both at work so I grab an orange and a cup of coffee before driving to school. Patrick is at his locker and smiles when he sees me. God, even in his uniform he looks sexy, I think to myself.

'Hello, beautiful' he says grabbing some books from the locker 'You look happy this morning'

I finish grabbing my stuff 'I am, I'm just excited for the weekend. It will be so much fun and I get to spend time with you' I say with a smile.

'I just want to kiss you, but I know someone will see and we'll get in trouble.' He says.

'Yeah I know, but the second I pull up to the hotel you can pull me into the biggest kiss. I have a surprise for you' I say.

'Baby, here at school?' He says jokingly and with a smirk.

I slap his chest playfully 'No not that, I may have gotten my own room at the hotel for the weekend' I tell him.

'I didn't want to run into the problem like last time' referring to the fact we had to share a room with Dave and Darcy.

'Really? I thought of that but when I went to book us a room they were totally sold out' he says.

'I talked to Julia before she booked all the rooms and she was the one who got me a separate room because of what happened at dinner at the Christmas party but the alone time with you would be a bonus. She offered to pay but I insisted I pay for it, myself' I tell him.

'Now I am even more excited for the weekend' he says and we walk to religion class.

The rest of the day flies by and in gym class we are still playing volleyball. Darcy and Molly are sitting out still and this time they brought snacks to have while they do homework. They sneak chips, candy bars and bits of brownies when Coach Glen isn't looking. I decide not to shower and just get home because I want to pack and get ready for the weekend. I change and I grab my stuff and I get stopped by Katie, Mary, Darcy and Molly.

'Haven't seen you in a while Jo' Katie says with a fake smile.

I smile slightly 'Yeah, I have been busy with homework' I tell them.

'What a shame, have you heard that the new student church center is open. We all have lockers in there, a seating area, private bathrooms, and of course there is a chapel. Maybe you should come in for confession?' She tells me.

'No that's okay my ex best friend all ready told everyone all my secrets' I give Molly a glare.

'You were my best friend and you didn't trust me enough to tell me what was going on with you and that's what hurts the most, it's not that your friends with people who would call us whores and Manson girls or that you told them things I told you I have never told anyone before, yeah those things hurt but not as much as the lack of trust and the lying. I have never lied to you and I trusted you with my life so I hope you're happy with the life YOU chose, not me. I can't believe I considered you my family, when all you did was use me, for a good time. You're a terrible person, Molly. I hope you find what you're looking for, really' I say with tears coming down my cheeks pushing past them and out of door.

I couldn't even look at her because it breaks my heart knowing she won't be in my life anymore, but I can't be friends with people who don't trust and I don't trust them.
