Chapter: 58
Patrick has to work tomorrow and he gets up early. I don't even hear him get up and leave. I wake up around 10am and I sit up and stretch. I get out of bed and I walk to the bathroom. I use the bathroom and I wash my hands and I notice a piece of paper on the counter with my name on it. I open it and read it.
My goddess,
I had to leave early for work and I didn't want to wake you because you were sleeping so soundly. You looked so gorgeous in my shirt laying in our bed. I will be home around 6 and I can't wait to start making memories in our new home. I will be thinking about you, hope you have an amazing day my love.
Forever Yours, Patrick (your hero)
P.S. I loved our first night living in sin together and be prepared for more sinning tonight
I hold the note and I smile. I brush my teeth and I walk over to the boxes of our clothing. I pull off the tape and I open the first box. It's a box of Patrick's clothes and I push it aside. I open the next one and it's some of my clothing. I find a pair of jean shorts and I pull them on. I sort through the boxes putting stuff in piles. I walk down the hall to the kitchen and I make a small pot of coffee and some oatmeal and I call Jen.
J: Hello?
JO: Hi, what are you doing?
J: Nothing, just finished breakfast. What are you doing?
JO: Nothing I was hoping you could meet me somewhere, I will give you the address but I want it to be a surprise
J: Okay? You're not going to murder me are you?
JO: No I don't have many friends I can't afford to murder one (I say laughing)
J: Fine, how's the packing going?
JO: Good almost done I think, can you bring dryer sheets with you?
J: Okay, give me the address and I will meet you soon and I'm not even going to ask about the dryer sheets.
I laugh and I give her our address and we hang up. She knows Patrick asked me to move in and that we have been looking for a place but I wanted her to see the house when there was actual stuff in it. I put on a little but of makeup and I find my leather sandals and I slip them on. I finish my now cold oatmeal and my coffee and I do the dishes from last night. I start on putting Patrick's and I records on the shelves by the fireplace and the record player on one of the shelves. I put them in order of artist cause that's how Patrick had his. There were hundreds of records and I wasn't even close to being done and I see Jen pulling up the drive way. I get up and I go outside and I make sure the door isn't locked and I close it behind me.
'Hey, what is this place?' Jen asks me.
She's wearing some jean overalls with a green tee shirt and some brown wooden clogs. Her curly brown hair is up in a pony tail and she is carrying a canvas tote bag.
'Hey, I wanted you to be the first of our friends to see Patrick and I's new house' I say and she smiles and grabs be into a hug.
'Are you fucking kidding me? Why didn't you tell me you found a place?' She asks me.
'I wanted show you the house when there was stuff in it. Plus, I didn't know this place existed till Robert offered it to us' I say and she smiles.
'Come on I'll give you a tour' I say taking her hand.
I give her the grand tour and she is in awe of the place. We walk back into the living room and she keeps looking around.
'Jo, this place is amazing. I am so fucking happy for you' she says and I give her a hug.
