SA- Chapter 8

PRINCESS' POV

December 5. Academy day. Para na rin syang isang festival with all the dancing, booths, games, rides, and food from famous fast food chains inside our very own campus. Isang school fest ba.

So yearly meron kaming week-long celebration, though tatlo o dalawang araw lang talaga 'to. Us, the younger ones are considered very lucky. Pano ba naman, those from the higher levels have their classes at kami enjoy enjoy lang sa tabi-tabi. Pero sino nga bang niloloko ko? Tinatakasan lang namin yung teacher namin para mag-enjoy. Break time naman noon eh.

Anyways, eto nga. Academy day na mismo. Syempre, daming supportive parents so madaming tao sa campus. Siksikan pero whatever.

After our volleyball-themed dance, nagbihis agad kami para makakain. Sino nga ba namang gusto maubusan ng pagkain, diba?

"Dear Jayden Cruz, hi sayo! From classmate." A voice was heard from one of the nearest speakers. "Dedication booth, pa-dedicate na kayo~!"

"Kung... magpa-dedicate kaya tayo kay Alvin sa dedication booth?" Cindy suggested as she placed her spoon and fork down.

Oo nga naman noh!

"Dun na tayo pagkakain?"

So tulad ng napagkasunduan, pumunta na kami ni Ash, Cindy at Angelo sa library para makapagpa-dedicate. And secret admirer makes another move.

"Alvin Acosta, crush na crush kita! Ang gwapo mo! Sana malaman mo na kung sino ako! From Secret Admirer."

Syempre, beshie beshie kami ni Ash. Alam na namin gagawin.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Ayun, nagtilian kami while Angelo teased me saying, "ayieee~"

Hehehe. Masama bang kiligin?

After our small squealing session upstairs, nagpasama si Brianna sa CR. And you know, sometimes, there's nothing wrong with a little bit of fun and pranks.

"Dun! Sa may lockers! Bilis tago!"

"Huy ang sikip!"

"Aray bes!"

We kept on complaining dahil sa masikip na pwesto. But, it'll be worth it. Soon huehue.

"Ate, may isa ba sa inyo na may crush sa bestfriend ko?"

Nagulat ako dahil sa ate na tumambad sa harap namin. Curious stares from three girls, which I assume, are a few years older than us.  Kami naman ni Ashley ay nagtataka kung sino yung tinutukoy nya, exchanging confused looks from each other. Bestfriend? Si Alvin?

"Si Alvin Acosta."

Shit.

"Aamin ka ba?" Tanong ni Ash ng pabulong. Umiling ako. I wish it would mean as a no to her question and a no to a question I wish to avoid.

Tumakbo kami ni Ashley palayo. Sinabay na rin namin si Brianna dahil sakto lang ang paglabas nya. Pumunta kaming tatlo kay Cindy at kwinento ang nangyari.

"What if... sabihin natin na yung isang kaibigan natin yung may crush kay Alvin?"

"So sasabihin natin na si Cindy or si Brianna yung may crush kay Alvin?"

"Hindi! Kunyari may isa pa tayong freny, basta kunyari totoo, sasabihin natin iyon ang may crush."

Pinuntahan naman namin si Brianna at sinabi ang plano namin. "Ipapamukha namin sakanila na hindi namin crush si Alvin."

"Natatandaan mo ba yung suot ni ate?" tanong ko Brianna

"Diba... naka blue at naka stripe sya?"

"Di ko din alam eh." sabi ko at napatawa. "Thank you for that information!"

"Sige! Goodluck."

"Ayun si ate!"

"Ano? Sasabihin ba natin?"

Then there was this internal debate. Yes, I wanted to deny the fact that I have a crush on him lalo na at bestfriend nya yun. The news could get to him. But there's this possibility that I might mess it up and reveal myself rather than to hide myself from the truth untold.

Okay lang naman eh. The only problem that I would face is the fact na pwedeng makarating kay Alvin ang balita, pero bahala na.
