SA- Chapter 5

ALVIN'S POV

"Yes! Yes!" I quietly chanted so that I wouldn't disturb the activity held here.

"Congratulations bro!" sabi ni Brandon na tinatapik pa ang likod ko at si Lee nakikipag shake hands pa.

Kanino kaya galing ito?

I read the letter again.

Dear Mr. A,
          Ako si ____, ang secret admirer mo. Ako ay may crush sayo mula grade 2 hanggang ngayon. Palagi kita nakikita at hindi nagpapapansin na may crush ako sayo. Alam mo ba, kapag natapat ako sayo ay kinikilig ako na para bang linalamig sa Baguio. Pero kapag tingin palang sakin ay solve na ako.

Aish! Ano ba 'to. Nababakla na ata ako. Shit.

"O anak, ano ba iyan?"

Nang pagka-uwi ko kasi ay kinuha ko agad yung letter at napansin pala yun ni Mama.

"Kanina po kasi may nagbigay ng letter sa akin." nakangisi kong sagot.

"Sino naman yan?"

"Secret admirer daw po eh."

"Ang pogi kasi ng anak ko."

Alam ko naman yun, Ma. 😎

"May nagkakacrush sayo?" lumapit si ate sa akin na para bang hindi makapaniwala. Hays. Walang bilib sa charms ko.

"Oo."

At hindi ko pa sya nakikilala. But I will find her. I will.

PRINCESS' POV

Hindi ako pumasok ngayon. Wala naman raw kasi akong gagawin dun. Psh. It's the cheering competition! I'm going to watch! Ugh!

Then, I remembered something...

Yung letter.

Before I gave it to him, marami akong naiisip. What if he just throws it away? What if he tears it apart? What if he would look at it boredly?

I really didn't expect his reaction.

He... was happy? Natuwa sya sa letter...

Atleast, kahit papaano, he appreciated it.

Then I felt my lips curve up at that memory.

Sana... he wouldn't do the opposite when he finds out about my real identity. Sana...

"Princess!"

My grandmother, Mama, called me to eat breakfast. Pupunta pala kami kela Nanay, lola ko sa father's side, para maglunch and family reunion.

Anyways... skip the reunion part.

I connected my phone to the internet and sent messages to Ashley, which would obviously not reply since they're at school.

Alvin...

His name, Alvin Acosta, quickly came up to my mind as I browsed my facebook newsfeed.

My fingers quickly pressed on the keyboard and typed his name on the search bar.

There it is.

He has nothing posted in it except for his profile picture and some family photos, probably taken on Christmas. It was so cute! Maybe he was just 7 or 8 here.

"Ano yan? Si Alvin?"

"Hindi ba obvious? At bakit ba? Pake mo?"

Psh. Wala kasing matinong magawa sa buhay yung kapatid ko. Tss.

ASHLEY'S POV

Hindi ko makalimutan yung nangyari noong isang araw so I grabbed my bestfriend and talked to her about it.

"Rin..."

She stared at me as if telling me to go on.

"Nung Friday..." I felt those butterflies again. "Si Christopher..."

She showed me a confused face. "Christopher? Sino yun?"

"Yung cute doon sa club natin sa scouting!"

"Aaaaaaaaah. Bakit? Ano meron?"

"Nung flag ceremony kase..."

FLASHBACK...

Nandito ako ngayon sa flag ceremony... At ang init!

Wait... bakit lalong umiinit kahit pinapaypayan ako?

Wait, what?! Pinapaypayan ako?

I slowly turned my face to the right to see...

My crush fanning me and his arm was around my shoulder.

O.O

Am I dreaming?

He also looked at me with wide eyes and...

Uhm... awkward...
