Chapter 11

I slammed my tray down next to Denki and he jumped.

"Woah what happened to you?"

"Just your basic underestimating and slandering of the quirkless girl, nothing new from the past 11 years." I snapped, hearing Endeavors words over and over again in my mind.

"I'll spare you the humiliation by telling you now to not even try fighting against Shoto if you get the chance. I created him to surpass All Might and if you think you can beat him by running and waving a stick around your wrong."

I angrily took a bite of my rice and took a deep breath.

"Sorry I didn't mean to come to the table acting like a brat."

"It's fine, you shouldn't have to deal with this shit. But hey, there's a cheerleading contest if your interested." I shrugged,

"Why not? I wanted to try cheerleading in junior high but well... bullying."

"Hey they'll be eating their words after today." I ate lunch quickly and then went to go find a costume before running into Yayorozu.

"Oh hey, would you mind making me a cheerleading costume? Denki said there's a contest."

"I figured he'd tell you, here." I grinned and pulled it on.

"What do you girls think?"

"Cute (L/n)!"

"I love it Kero."

Denki's P.O.V.
I waited outside on the field and suddenly heard Present Mics voice,

"Woah looks like 1-A is going full fan service!" I looked over and held back a laugh. They all did it! Mineta gave me a thumbs up and I suddenly got a pom-pom to the face,

"You told them it was mandatory!?" I looked over and felt myself go bright red. I had never seen (Y/n) in anything so, revealing. Sure in the summer she wore shorts and tank tops all the time but they were usually longer and covered more. I hardly noticed her in front of me until I felt the pom-pom bonk me on the head, "You perv." She teased and I laughed,

"Just go have fun and prove those girls on the junior high cheer team how wrong they were."
I watched her for a while then participated in the scavenger hunt and next thing I knew it was time for the last round

"Alright! Because of how things work we only have sixteen spots but seventeen people moving on. Either someone can drop or we can have some sort of contest for who gets that spot."

"I'll drop out." Ojiro said, "I don't have any memory of the cavalry battle and that doesn't seem fair to me since I don't even know how I got here."

"Ojiro come on, you did great. I'd be willing to bargain my spot for it." I was a bit surprised since this didn't seem like (Y/n) at all but Ojiro didn't budge,

"My pride won't let me, besides you deserve he chance to get recognized more than me. And why are all the girls in cheerleader uniforms...?"

"Talk to the spark plug."

"I'd also like to drop out..." I turned and saw a kid from 1-B. I also can't remember anything, and think it would just be best."

"This kind of talk is incredibly naive my boys... It turns me on!"

After some discussion it was decided a girl from 1-B named Shiozaki would be moving on and as it turns out I was fighting her. Midoriya was fighting Shinso and I turned just in time to see (Y/n) dragging him by the arm,

"You with me, I need to tell you what I know about his quirk." This brought on a pang of jealousy which I shoved down. She hardly knows him yet, you need to calm down.
I just don't want to see her hurt again...

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
I walked up to the stands, back in my gym uniform and sat down.

"Has the match started yet?"

"Almost." Kirishima said and I nodded Shinso and Midoriya came out onto the ring. As Midnight and Present Mic called the match it sounded like Shinso was already beginning to taunt Midoriya all though it was hard to hear from up in the stands. However eventually Shinso said something and Midoriya responded making him freeze in place.

"You idiot!" I yelled down, standing up quickly and leaning over the rail, "I told you not to respond him no matter what!" I felt someone tug on the back of my shirt,

"Sit down your gonna fall." Denki said and I sighed, continuing to watch the match.

"Woah, it looks like Midoriya is walking out of the ring, could this be an easy match!?" I was on the edge of my seat until suddenly a gust of wind came from around Midoriya and he turned back around. This got Shinso mad and I managed to catch a line,

"Why are you so blessed!?" I stopped and got up, knowing where this match was going to go.

"I'll be back, I need to talk to Shinso." I made it downstairs and caught him as he came inside,

"Oh it's you."

"I'm not here to gloat or anything, just talk." I said, "You weren't exactly being quiet when you called Midoriya blessed."

"I bet you were too. Probably got in through the recommendation exams or something." I laughed,

"No actually. I got through the normal entrance exams because my dad told me what to expect but he still thought I was going to the support course. Which was a backup plan but I got into hero. I've had a lot of help over the years from my friend but I can tell my parents weren't seriously considering me being a hero until I came home telling them I applied for the hero course." Shinso let this sink in and sighed,

"Is this your way of trying to comfort me?"

"What I'm trying to say is maybe find some help, a pro hero, a friend, a teacher, and I'm sure by your second year you'll be with us in the hero course."
