Chapter 18

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I followed the doctor to my friends room and froze. The police chief?!

"Ah Ms (L/n), feel free to take a seat I assume your still worn out." I nodded and pulled up a chair, still nervous about what was going on. "Currently Stain is being treated for injuries including several broken bones, a punctured lung, and broken ribs. Now what you should know is that using your quirks to fight is strictly against the law."

"Now hold on." I winced slightly as Todoroki stood up. Oh god is he really gonna yell at the chief of police? "If Midoriya hadn't showed up Iida and Native would be dead. And technically (L/n) fighting back can be classified as self defense since she was saving Iida and she's quirkless."

"Let Kenji finish young man." Gran Torino said and Todoroki backed off.

"Now, if we made this public you'd face consequences but the public would praise you. If we didn't and said Endeavor was the one who took on the hero killer then you wouldn't get any sort of recognition but no punishment would be necessary." I chewed the inside of my cheek for a minute before answering,

"I think we should go with the second option. It's not like villains are going anywhere and besides, I don't think UA would benefit from the knowledge a couple of their students attacked a villain. Their already in how water because of the USJ, this would probably get the rumor around that UA students are reckless."

"Your a very smart young girl." The officer said, "That will make you a great hero. All of you will be good heroes one day and I want to personally thank you for the role you played in the hero killers capture." Todoroki looked embarrassed for a second then he spoke,

"You could have started with that..."

The story went like this-
A couple of UA students on internships were trying to find a way out of the situation downtown on instruction from mentors when they ran into The Hero Killer Stain who attacked. Luckily Endeavor showed up and rescued them before the situation got to bad.

Of course my parents fussed over me and Denki called and texted whenever he could but I sure as hell was glad when I got home after being scolded my Manuel then praised before leaving my internship. I was just heading up the stairs and fumbling for my keys when I saw Denki coming up the street. We locked eyes for a moment before I ran back down the stairs and grabbed him into a giant hug.

"Glad to see your ok (Y/n) but you are an idiot."

"Denki did you have to punch the injured shoulder!? Also we didn't mean to run into the hero killer it just... happened."

"I've known you long enough to know that didn't just happen."

"I didn't hunt him down if that's what your implying."

"Not necessarily. I just don't think Endeavor caused all those injuries." I sighed and glanced away for a second. God I wish I could tell you everything...

"Sorry. But there really isn't much else to it."

"Bakugo what happened to your hair!?" I was doubled over laughing at my classmate who, instead of his normal Pomeranian look, now had a combover.

"Stop laughing... my hairs gotten used to this and now I can't get it back. Seriously I'll kill you." I stood up for a moment, snickering into my hand.

"I'd like to see you try pretty boy."

"THE HELL DID YOU CALL ME!?"

"It's back to normal!" I fell on my ass laughing and that meant poor Kirishima and Sero who were also cackling were the ones who got dragged. By the time I had calmed down it was time for class and I took my seat.

"Alright. I know things are moving fast paced but finals are coming up. This means there will be a practical portion too. Over the summer don't think you can relax either, because there will be a training camp and anyone who doesn't pass the finals will be stuck in summer school with me." Mr Aizawa delivered the line with his usual intimidation but this time it affected no one as we were all too pumped up.

"Ooh I'm so exited!"

"You girls better pass this thing!"

"(Y/n)...."

"Let me guess Denki. You forgot about finals."

"I'm at the bottom of the class, you gotta help me!" I sighed and finished putting my textbooks in my bag.

"I'd love to but I'm actually behind as well. I really need to pass these finals and we both know studying together can be hazardous to grades."

"Come on your like- 7th in the class!"

"You can still be behind even when you succeed."

"If you two like, I can help you study." Yayorozu offered and I turned around,

"Really? I warn you we can get a little chaotic."

"Oh don't worry about it. I won't be any help on the practical portion though..." For a moment she looked discouraged and before I could speak up Jiro came over.

"Mind if I join in? I'm having some trouble with the math."

"Same, I'm falling behind." Ojiro agreed and Ashido nodded quickly. This got Yayorozu exited and she stood up quickly,

"Oh this is wonderful, we can have a study party! I'll get mother to open up the great hall, and what kind of tea do you all like?" 

Damn... I almost forgot this girls got cash. But hey, least I won't be failing the finals!
