Chapter 23

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

Camp got more and more exhausting as the days went by.

Having no quirk to train meant I was getting pushed by Tiger to train my body then sparring with anyone who needed it.
That meant I was covered in bruised and dirt from being whacked around by Midoriya, Ojiro, and occasionally Kirishima. Although Midoriya did have a couple good sized bruises of his own.

At night we made our own food, mostly curry, and then took long hot baths in the springs an option now forbidden to Mineta because of the stunt he pulled earlier in the week, then most of us went to bed while the students who needed extra lessons went into the main lodge with Vlad King & Mr Aizawa.

Now however we were standing outside of the forest, all pumped to do the activity the Pussycats had planned for us.

"Alright, now it's time for-"

"A totally awesome test of courage!" Mina squealed.

"Not so fast. The students who have been doing the provisional lessons will be with me."

"Are you kidding me!?" I snickered and waved to the group as they were dragged away by Mr Aizawa earning me a middle finger from Denki.

"So, basically how this works is you'll be split into teams of two. Class 1-B is already hiding in the forest, ready to scare you. You have to get through the trail and grab the flags with your name on them and make your way out! The class who scares the other class the most and the most creatively wins!" I bounced on my toes as we all paired up and I ended up with Hagakure.

"Are you exited?"

"Yes! I can't wait till it's our turns to scare!" She said, jumping up and down.

We ended up going into the forest third and although I wasn't usually afraid of the dark but the screams of the people before us and all the jump scares had me and Hagakure holding onto each other tightly.

I noticed a this purple fog begin to creep around our feet and wrinkled my nose.

"Do you know if anyone has a gas quirk around here?"

"I don't- think so..." Hagakure suddenly trailed off and passed out and I quickly pulled my shirt over my nose and mouth.

"Whoever's doing this you got us ok! It's not funny, turn off your damn quirk!"

A gunshot went off and I felt the bullet enter my side. I inhaled a shit ton of the gas and dropped to the ground, passing out the moment I hit.

Denki's P.O.V.

I felt a rush of terror.

Villains!? I thought we were safe!

"Vlad, protect the students!" Mr Aizawa ran out of the room and Vlad immediately got ready to fight.
I looked around nervously and Kirishima walked over.

"Dude you ok?"

"Are you not worried? Villains just attacked what was supposed to be a secure location."

"Yeah I know we need to have faith in our classmates and the teachers but their in danger so I just want to run out there and help."

"I don't know about the first part... (Y/n), Midoriya, and Bakugo are probably all doing something stupid." Mandalay a voice suddenly blasted through our heads and and composure Kirishima had dropped immediately.

"We have received information that the villains are looking for a Kacchan. Kacchan please try to stick with a group and avoid combat."

"Vlad, we have to go out there and help!"

"Absolutely not, only the students who are in the forest have permission to fight because they need to defend themselves." Kirishima opened his mouth to argue again but a figure suddenly appeared by the door and a wave of blue flames shot through the classroom.

Immediately Vlad leapt into action, pinning the patchwork villain to the wall with his quirk.

"Don't underestimate us heroes."

"The heroes have already lost. Society will lose faith in both U.A. and All Might after discovering the school allowed a student to go missing." My heart dropped into my stomach,
Did they already get Bakugo?

"This guys just a clone." Mr Aizawa burst back through the door, slamming the villain in the head and turning him into a pile of mud. "He won't answer any questions."

"Hey I think you oh got him..." I said and Mr Aizawa looked up.

"The villains are only here to distract the pros, we need to be on guard." Uraraka suddenly came through the door, tears in her eyes.

"It's bad..." We all headed outside and I took in the scene.

Almost half the students were passed out on the ground,

Several had injuries of varying degrees,

And Bakugo was nowhere to be seen.

Ayoama came forward, blood on his shirt and some kind of weird look on his face.

"Dude are you ok!? You should get checked out!"

"It's not my blood." I looked around and realized I couldn't see a head of familiar (h/c) hair running towards me.

"Where's (Y/n)?" I followed Ayoama and found my friend, lying on a bench, her shirt soaked in blood.

"Yayorozu created a temporary bandaging but she inhaled a lot of the gas and has lost a lot of blood." I said nothing, just sat down next to her and gently stroked her hair.

The training camp we were supposed to go to to become better heroes had ended in disaster.

15 students knocked out by gas
11 with unrelated injuries
1 with a combination of both
13 students unharmed
1 kidnapped
