(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

"Hey!" I looked up from my book and grinned, running over to the window.

"Hey Denki! What's up!?"

"You still trapped?"

"Unfortunately yes! I can't even walk to the store without dad trailing after me!"

"So you coming over isn't an option I guess!"

"Nope."

"What about me over there!?" I grinned and waved my hand. Denki clambered out his window and made the short jump between the roofs before I pulled him into my room. "So, should I be calling you babe now or...?" I blushed and looked away.

"If you want. I'm still shocked from the fact that you actually like me."

"I'm just teasing, we'll take this at whatever pace you like ok? I may be a flirt but I'm not disrespectful."

"Yeah leave that to Mineta." I said and my door opened suddenly. Mom didn't even blink at the sight of Denki in my room, both sets of parents were used to us clambering over the roofs to hang out.

"(Y/n) reminder that your teachers are swinging by to talk about moving into the dorms later." I nodded and she turned to Denki.

"It's good to see you Denki. I'll be leaving the door a crack open ok? I know it's something we've never done in the past but..."

"It's fine (M/n). By the way you are glowing, I wish I knew you when you were pregnant with (Y/n) because you had to have been gorgeous while carrying someone as pretty as her." I went a darker shade of red and mom laughed,

"Don't flatter me please, I was a mess while pregnant with her." Mom left and Denki turned to me,

"Ok is it just me or did your mom seem tense?" I nodded,

"Yeah, I know her and Mr Aizawa have a bit of a history so maybe she's just worried about seeing him in person."

"Probably. Wanna play on the switch?"

"Your on."

Yeah, nothing much is gonna change is it?

If I hadn't felt the tension up in my room it was certainly there when mom and Mr Aizawa, aka a hormonal pregnant lady and UA's most intense teacher, we're staring each other down in our living room.

Both All Might and dad seemed to not quite know what to do and I cleared my throat.

"So um- an I move into the dorms or..." Mom took a breath and then looked at dad.

"I'm sorry but your father and I talked and we just don't want that for you."

"Wait what!?"

"(Y/n) listen to me. Your class has been attacked again and again and again. You were seriously injured at the training camp, one that the teachers swore up and down was safe, just like these dorms. How can we trust them with you full time if we can't even do so for a week."

"We just want what's best for you." Dad said and I stood up,

"Ok what about what I want? You think you know what's best for me but you never stop to think that maybe I have different needs or wants. I just want to be a hero, like you guys-"

"62." I stopped and looked at Mr Aizawa who's quiet voice managed to cut through the room like a whip.
"That's how many points she got in the entrance exams, 46 of which were villain points. Those exams were not made for a quirkless person to even have a chance at passing."

"Eraserhead I went to UA I know how the exams work." Dad said cooly but Mr Aizawa continued.

"Your daughter has passed all expectations. She made it to the final round of the sports festival and held her own against two of the strongest students in my class. She has remained in the top 10 of her class this whole year. (M/n), she outsmarted and beat me in the final exams. I ask, leave (Y/n) in our care and she will grow into a strong young hero."

There was silence for a moment and then mom spoke again.

"If I find out that she even scraped her knee due to your negligence I'm pulling her from the hero course myself." I felt a grin twitch at the corners of my mouth.

"So I can go back?"

"Yes. But for the love of god please be careful." I sat back down and wrapped my arms around my moms shoulders.

"Thank you!"

"Eraserhead, All Might, take care of her."

"You have my word." Mr Aizawa said and I turned to him.

"Thank you."

Late that night I found myself unable to sleep and slid out of bed, hoping to track down a midnight snack. I made my way to the top of the stairs and crouched down when I realized mom was on the phone with someone.

"You had no right to step in like that today. Your lucky I love my daughter or she'd be transferring schools like that." She smacked her hand on the counter and there was a pause as whoever was in the other line spoke.
"No I'm not telling her."
More silence.

"Eraserhead I'm not telling my daughter that her father is some hobo-ass looking teacher and not the man she's been calling dad her whole life."
