(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I rubbed Denki's head as he sulked over the fact that he wouldn't be going to the training camp and Ashido sniffled.

"Have... a fun time... at the camp..." She whined and Midoryia, being his optimistic self, spoke up.

"Hey don't worry about it! Maybe they'll be a chance that a twist will happen and you guys can go." At this Denki stood up straight and shoved his fingers into Midoryia's eyes.

"We were all thinking that but you just jinked it!" I took my friends shoulders to try and calm him but Mr Aizawa walked in and we all had to sit down.

"So, most of you passed. However Kirishima, Kaminari, Bakugo, Ashido, Sato, and Sero all failed."

"Man I knew it..." Sero moaned and Mr Aizawa raised his hand to quiet him.

"I lied again. Everyone will be going to the training camp." The students who failed cheered and Mr Aizawa narrowed his eyes, "However you'll be doing extra remedial courses with me." I cringed. In words that sounded fair but if this was Mr Aizawa then those won't going to be easy. Present Mic came in and took the stage and normal classes started for the day.

I laid on the desk and listened to the other girls talk about summer vacation.

"It's a shame we can't go anywhere for summer vacation, my family was supposed to tour Venice."

"I forget how rich your family is Ya-Momo." Uraraka said and Ashido turned to me.

"Did you have Amy plans (Y/n)?" I raised an eyebrow and she gasped, "Sorry, was that improper?" I laughed and smiled,

"It's fine. We're friends, I was just surprised. And in answer to your question I was most likely gonna help my dad set up the nursery since there's no way he's going to let mom do a thing." Suddenly Hagakure leaned over and I could almost see her sparkle.

"Why don't we all hang out at the school pool over summer vacation!"

"That sounds like a great idea, and I can get permission from the teachers. But shouldn't we focus on the training camp first?" Ya-Momo asked and I nodded, then came up with an idea.

"What if we all go to the mall? Kiyashi ward is pretty big so not only should it not be to crowded I don't think any villains will try anything drastic."

"That sounds like so much fun! I'll go let the group know." Hagakure went off and I leaned against the wall, checking the list. Ok, I need hiking boots, sunscreen, and a couple new sports bras. A shopping trip was honestly probably on the list anyways.

I arrived at the mall with Denki and we met up with the rest of the class who came.

"We all probably need different things so we should split up." Iida said and the rest of the group agreed. "Lets all meet back here at 3pm and we can discuss where to go from there." I checked my list and decided to head to find shoes first since lingerie was really something to do with just the girls or by myself.

"You need shoes to?" I turned around and grinned when I saw Denki.

"Yeah, my hiking boots are worn out and my tennis shoes are kind of beaten up."

"I hear you. My boots are totally beaten up from that camping trip your dad took us on last summer."

"The one where you fell into a bush of thorns or the one where I sat in poison ivy."

"No the one where we both fell in the lake while attempting to climb into the kayak."

"Ah right, the hike was rough but the campsite was beautiful."

"It really was." I headed into the shoe store and began to browse, only for someone to pull on my shirt.

"Excuse me..." I turned around and saw a girl with red eyes and a runny nose."

"What's the matter?"

"Your a hero right? I saw you in the sports festival." I knelt down to her level and smiled,

"Yeah I'm a hero. Are you ok?"

"I lost my momma, can you help me find her?" I smiled and gently took her hand.

"Of course I can. Is she in the show store?"

"No... I got lost and saw you in the window so I knew a hero could help me." I nodded and we headed out.

"Ok, what does your mom look like?"

"Red hair like a cherry, blue eyes, oh and she has blue tattoos on her arms. She said we were gonna go to the candy store but I don't know where that is."

"Perfect, I'll take you there." I sent a quick text to Denki letting him know where I was headed and we made our way upstairs and towards the candy store. I saw a frantic woman pushing her way through the crowds and the girl let go of my hand.

"Mommy!"

"Akira! Oh thank god!" The girl ran into her moms arms and I came up to them.

"Mommy a hero saved me!" The woman stood up and smiled, wiping at her tear streaked face.

"Thank you so much... you were in the sports festival right."

"Yes mam."

"Akira is quirkless but she wants to be a hero badly. We watch the sports festival every year." I smiled and looked at the little girl.

"Im quirkless to. Following your dreams is never impossible, sometimes you just have a harder path than others and that just means you have to work real hard got it?" Akira nodded, a determination in her eyes that looked so familiar.

"What's your hero name?" She asked.

"Monarch."

Akira and her mom left and I made my way back to the shoe store only to get crashed into and pulled into a tight hug by someone.

"Denki woah! Did you not get my text?"

"That's not it. Uraraka just texted, Midoryia was attacked by Shigaraki. I was terrified you might have encountered him." I slowly returned his hug as shock set in, great fuel he was safe as well.

No where is safe. That was the cruel truth we were about to learn but in the moment we were just glad no one was dead, and the police now had a good guess as to what the villain, once with his face covered by a hand, looked like.
