(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
"For our next match we have (Y/n) (L/n) vs Ejiro Kirishima!"
"Don't even think about going easy on my pebbles!"
"Wouldn't dream of it!"
"Match, start!" I dodged to the side as Kirishima activated his quirk and lunged at me. I attempted to sweep his leg out from under him but he noticed and hardened his leg leaving me with probably a very nasty bruise. I pulled my staff out of my pocket and elongated it, as I stood up a pain shot up my leg and I winced but ignored it.
"That all you've got?" I taunted and Kirishima smirked,
"Not even close." He lunged for me again but this time I was ready for him and once more dodged underbid attack, this time hitting him with the sole of my foot so it hurt less but he wasn't quite out of bounds yet and returned, knocking me down and breaking my staff as I tried to hold him back. I did manage to kick him off and out of bounds however, effectively sending a another jolt of pain off my injured leg.
"Kirishima is out of bounds! (L/n) is the winner!"
"Sorry about your staff."
"It's fine, it should be pretty easy to get replaced." I stood up and fell right back down, "Ah sh- what the hell is your skin made of?" I rolled up my pant leg and there were just bloody scrapes on my ankle that hurt like hell. "Don't even try apologizing for that one, it was my fault."
"Come on, I'll carry you to the nurses office."
"Ah what sportsmanship!" I laughed as we headed to Recovery Girls office and I sat on the cot, wincing as she gently cleaned the wound.
"I wouldn't recommend trying that with someone who's quirk is similar to your friends here."
"Can you heal it? Cause I'm fighting either Bakugo or Uraraka next and I can't wait!"
"Of course I can, just rest for a minute." She kissed my ankle and bandaged it and I sat and listened to the sound of faint explosions coming from outside. A few minutes later we were able to head back and ran for the stands.
"How are things going?"
"Good, how's your leg?" Midoriya asked and I smiled,
"Much better thanks to Recovery Girl."
"She's so good!"
"You would know, you've been in there at least three times a week since school started." Deku flushed with embarrassment and I sat next to Denki, snapping in front of his face since he was a bit spaced out.
"Hey, Pikachu. You alright? Hope your not still glitching out from that fight with Shiozaki." He jumped and looked over,
"Hm? Oh no just trying to watch the match." I nodded and looked out,
"Jeese there both doing so well. Uraraka's looking a little worn out though, Bakugo's giving her a run for her money."
"Hey boy do you really consider yourself a hero!? Quit playing with her and knock her out of bounds!" The crowd started booing and I blew a strand of hair out of my face. Oh my god why are all the heroes here so idiotic?
"The crowds booing Bakugo! And to be honest I kind of- ack!" Mr Aizawa elbowed Mic in the head and took the microphone.
"Whoever started that uproar can pack up their cape and go home. Bakugo isn't toying with Uraraka he's recognizing her strength and not underestimating her. Besides if any of you bothered to look up you'd see she had a plan this whole time." I glanced a little higher and laughed. Above us was tons of rubble floating high above the stands.
"No wonder she looks so worn out. She's been using her quirk this whole time." Uraraka released everything at that one moment and Bakugo just calmly looked up, then exploded everything in that one moment. I put my hands over my mouth. Oh no... Uraraka tried to keep fighting but fatigue overcame her and she collapsed. Midnight called the match and Mic spoke over the speaker system.
"Aw man I really wanted her to win..."
"Your supposed to remain unbiased."
"Let's have a short break and all get pumped for the second round after that depressing outcome!"
"Why do I even bother..."
