(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

Did you know?

I stared hard at our teacher as he explained the dorm layouts.

I tried to talk to my parents about what I overheard but...
"He's not your father you understand that right?"Yes, dads the man who raised me. I just wanted to ask why you kept it from me."
"It doesn't matter! Drop the subject and keep packing for the dorms."

I'd taken a picture of myself and compared it to the photo on the UA website. I truly had taken after my mom but the more I looked the more similarities I saw between the two photos.
The jaw shape.
The seemingly tired eyes.
Even my hair was a slightly darker shade than my mothers, most likely from the black in Mr Aizawa's hair. (Most definitely medically inaccurate don't at me)

"Babe!" I jumped slightly and turned to Denki. "Your spacing out are you ok?"

"I'm fine, yeah. Sorry, just didn't get much sleep last night." Ok that part was true.

"Are you guys finally together!? Sero you owe me 20$!" Mina squealed and I smacked her on the shoulder,

"Excuse me, were you betting on my relationship status?"

"Yeah. I thought you guys were gonna get together this year, Sero thought you guys were too chicken."

"Come on man!" Denki groaned and Sero shrugged, taking his wallet out.

"I've learned to not decline a bet from Ashido." I chuckled at my friends and shook my head. My gaze flicked back to Mr Aizawa as he walked away but I was distracted as Bakugo forced Denki into yay mode to get a laugh out of Kirishima.

I couldn't sleep again that night.
I slid out of bed and tiptoed out of my dorm room and down the stairs. I made it to the common room and went to the door, slipping outside into the cool night air.

"Its past curfew." I jumped as I realized Mr Aizawa was making his way towards me and I had to take a moment to find the words.

"I couldn't sleep. Thought I'd get some fresh air."

"Whether you can or cannot sleep theres a curfew for a reason." I stood up and suddenly the words just spilled out.

"Did you know?" Mr Aizawa froze and I started playing with my thumbs. "Did you know I was your daughter?" He sighed and then sat down on the steps, patting the place next to him.

"Sit back down." I did so and Mr Aizawa looked out at nothing. "Your mother and I dated in junior high. I had no idea she was pregnant when we broke up and she never told me. However when I saw your file in the UA Hero Course applications and I knew. I tried calling your mom about it but she blocked my number."

"Was it hard when you learned she kept it from you?"

"Yeah."

"You could have just expelled me. No ones gonna trust me as a hero anyways and you wouldn't have had to think about me or my mom."

"One, I don't expel anyone who has potential. Two, its only on paper anyways. Three, Nezu actually revoked that privilege after I expelled a whole class so that threat at the beginning of the year was just to scare you. And four, do you actually think no one is going to trust you?"

"I-" I took a moment to think. At the mall that little girl had no hesitation in coming up to me. And she knew I was quirkless. "I guess not."

"I'm not going to try and be your dad. Its 15 years to late for that and you already have a dad. I'm just glad we both know the truth now." I nodded and pulled myself off the steps.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Now go to bed kid." I headed back into the building and back into my dorm room as quietly as possible. For a minute I wanted nothing more than to demand answers from my mom but I took a breath and thought over it rationally.

I don't know what they broke up over, if it was enough so that she never told Aizawa about me then I shouldn't push it.

I had answers. I didn't need more for now, it was nothing I'd stress her out about at least until my sibling was born.
