Chapter 32

 I slid down the banister much to Iida's disapproval and half ran to Denki, taking his hand in my own.

"Have fun lovebirds!" Mina called and I waved to her. We stopped at the teacher dormitory to get a permission slip from Mr Aizawa and then headed down the hill.

"So where is this place?" I asked and Denki tugged my hand towards the right.

"This way!" We ran through the crowds, laughing and dodging people who were making their way home from their shifts. We stopped in front of a small movie theater looking building. "It used to be a cinema but then they remodeled it."

"Oh that's cool."

"I know right- hey isn't that the purse you eventually put the Pikachu key chain on?"

"Yeah?"

"Wheres your key chain?" I looked and groaned,

"Ugh, I think I lost it! I swear it was on there when I left..." I had had that key chain since preschool, it was Denki noticing it that caused him to call for me to sit next to him my first day there. Losing it almost felt like losing that symbol of our relationship. I felt hot tears begin to burn in my eyes but suddenly Denki took my face and wiped my eyes.

"I'll just have to win you a new one then." I grinned and we went inside. We got our game cards and began to look around. It really was a nice place, the movie screens had giant music videos playing on them and all seats had been removed and replaced with games. "What do you want to do first?"

"Skeeball, then I'm beating your ass in a motorcycle race."

"Oh your on."

"Hey babe if you want pizza we gotta leave like right now." I checked my watch and it said 7:15.

"Alright, lets go." After cashing in our tickets we each got a small plushie and some candy. We headed over to the pizza place, ordered, and sat down.

"Thank you so much for this date." Denki said and I smiled, holding his hand in mine and rubbing my thumb over his knuckles.

"Its not a problem, I always love hanging out with you."

"Yeah but this time it was romantic. I never thought that was something I could get since I figured you just liked me as a brother or something." He took my hand and kissed it, "I was so happy to learn you felt the same way." I blushed,

"Well look who's being a gentleman."

"Ooh hold on!" And he's back. Denki rummaged in his deep hoodie pockets for a second, pulling out his debit card, phone, and several tootsie rolls, both whole and wrappers, before finding what he was looking for. "I told you I'd get you a new one." He handed me a pikachu key chain, almost an exact replica of the old one. "I thought it might be a little dangerous to break off its ear though, might end up snapping the whole thing."

"I love it! You're the best you know that right?"

"Awww thanks. I figured this could mark the next chapter in our relationship you know?"

"Perfect." I attached it tight to my purse and a tray of pizza was set in front of us. "Lets eat."

We made it to the steps of the 1-A dorms and I checked my watch.

"Seven... fifty nine... next time lets leave earlier so we never have to book it back to the dorms again. "Come on lets go inside before Iida comes out to yell at us for being past curfew."

"Wait." One arm made its way around my waist and the other through my hair and he pulled me in for a long kiss. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that."

"Since my dad block us the first time?"

"Eh- shut up..." I kissed him back and we stayed like that for another long moment.

"Both of you inside now!" We broke apart as Iida stuck his head out of the door. "Its passed curfew, I gave you a minute but you need to come inside now!"

From real dad to class dad, we can't seem to get a moment alone can we?
