After they finished breakfast both boys brushed their teeth and gathered their school things together. Both were having internal debates with themselves. As they headed out the door, Chan turned to Felix.

"Hey, um, who are you eating with? At lunch, I mean." He asked.

"Oh, I'll probably eat in the hallway or something. I don't really want to see Ryan right now." Felix responded. Chan nodded.

"Well, if you change your mind. You can always come and sit with me." Felix smiled at him before silence fell over the two again.

They walked to school conversing lightly, trying not to bring up or think about what had happened that morning. The school was bustling as usual, but as soon as the two boys walked in the hallways seemed to quiet and eyes followed them. Chan rolled his eyes subtly, but he pasted a smile on and began his normal greetings.

"Good morning!" He said cheerily. Felix snorted softly beside him. Chan shushed him through his smile. A couple feet later, Felix turned toward Chan.

"Good morning!" He mocked the older, then be smirked and walked away.

"I'm going to kill him." Chan muttered.

"Who?" Came a voice from beside him. He turned around to see the red head that he had talked to when Felix was put on the school forum.

"Oh... Nobody." Chan smiled.

"I saw you walk in with Fredrick." The girl mentioned casually.

"Felix." Chan corrected.

"Huh?"

"Felix."

"Oh, sorry, Felix. Aren't you scared of Ryan? Like, he's kinda mad at you already, none of us know why, but he seems to have it out for you." The girl whispered to him.

"Why would I be scared of Ryan? He can attack me all he wants, words or physically. I don't care, and I'd probably beat him if we fought." Chan shrugged. The red head gasped.

"Why would you say that?" She hissed, scanning the hallway carefully. "He's got people everywhere."

"Geez," Chan laughed. "You make it sound like he's some sort of mafia boss or something."

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he was." The girl muttered.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name." Chan switched the topic.

"Oh, Rachel. My name's Rachel." The girl said.

"Pretty name." Chan nodded.

"Thanks!" Rachel smiled. "Um, hey, I was thinking, are you free this Friday? Would you maybe want to go out with me?" Chan froze, his mind racing a million miles an hour.

"Sorry, I'm busy this Friday, and, uh, you're not really my type." Chan replied slowly, he didn't want to make her feel bad, but she really wasn't his type. He didn't know what his type was anymore.

"Oh." Rachel blushed. "That's no problem then." She smiled slightly, trying to make it so Chan didn't feel bad for rejecting her.

"Thanks, uh, I'm sure you'll find someone." He awkwardly patted her shoulder. She giggled and walked off, waving over her shoulder at him.
Chan took a sigh of relief. Then he caught a blue haired boy walking past out of the corner of his eye.

"Lucas!" He called. The other boy tensed up and stopped walking, looking around to see who called him. He visibly relaxed when he saw it was Chan. Chan jogged up to him.

"Um, I know this is kind of sudden and random, but what do you know about the LGBTQ+ community, and like what all there is?" Chan asked quietly.

"Um, a little bit? I was doing a little searching of my own a while ago and found out I was Ace, so, I've seen a bit." Lucas responded, scratching the back of his head.

"What's Ace?" Chan tilted his head.

"So, the short version is basically I don't feel, or rarely feel sexual attraction. I can still find people attractive, like aesthetically, but not sexually." Lucas explained briefly.

"Oh..." Chan paused. "So hypothetically speaking, what if a somebody thought that they were straight, because they'd never really had a crush on someone, until they started hanging out with someone of the same gender and started feeling attracted to them? What would your guess be then?" Lucas turned to Chan, a teasing look on his face.

"Hypothetically?" Lucas asked. Chan nodded, trying to keep a blush from his face. "Hypothetically, I would say that that person is most likely Demisexual. Being Demisexual is not experiencing sexual attraction until you've formed some sort of connection with somebody. When you're Demisexual it's only related to sexual attraction, as for romantic attraction, you can be Heteromantic, Gay romantic, Bi romantic, or Pan romantic. So romantically that person could be attracted to any gender."

"Oh, I've never heard of Demisexual before." Chan mused. Lucas smirked.

"This is all hypothetical right?" He questioned.

"Yes." Chan answered quickly. "No... Maybe...?" Lucas laughed.

"Well, I hope your friend figures it out." He said meaningfully. Chan sighed.

"Okay, okay, it may or may not be about me." He admitted.

"Ah, yes. And who was your sexual awakening?" Lucas teased. Chan blushed.

"Felix." He muttered. Lucas heard him, but he wanted to tease him more.

"Who?"

"Felix." Chan said a little louder.

"What?"

"Felix." Chan raised his voice slightly.

"Oh." Lucas stifled a laugh. "Yeah, I could see that." Chan growled. Like legitimately growled. Lucas flinched.

"Dang, okay. I'll keep my hands off." He raised his hands in surrender. "I mean, I highly doubt he'd want to talk to me anyways." His head dropped slightly.

"I'm sure he'd forgive you." Chan reassured the taller boy. "He's a very forgiving person." Lucas hummed.

"Okay, but still, I won't touch him." He teased.

"Yeah," Chan grinned. "Hands off my man." And for the first time in his life he felt comfortable saying that he was attracted to a man, and wanted to claim said man as his own.

You see, he had always been able to see himself getting married to both a man or a woman or even a nonbinary person, but he had never been sexually attracted to any of the genders. But now, knowing that there were people who never felt sexual attraction and people who felt it depending on the situation made him feel better. And that only feeling that attraction at certain times was completely normal and there were other people like him out there.

A/N: Eyyy! So we've got some more insight on Chan. What do y'all think? I don't see much Ace or Demi representation in fanfics, so I thought it'd be kind of cool to put it in my own. I did some research, so hopefully it's in here correctly and respectfully. Let me know if it's not and I'll take it down and rewrite what isn't well done. Thanks! Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
