Chan and Felix sat together eating pizza and talking about random things. They were currently debating on who the best Marvel character was.

“Dude, I'm telling you, it's Deadpool.” Chan stuffed another mouthful of pizza into his mouth.

“Dude, no.” Felix mocked him. “You're just obsessed with Ryan Reynolds. It's obviously Captain Marvel. She's like THE Avenger.”

“Deadpool isn't even an Avenger so your argument is invalid.” Chan pointed out.

“Okay, and? Captain Marvel has the same name as the entire universe, which makes her the best.” The younger retorted.

“Okay, that's a pretty good point.” Chan admitted. “But I still like Deadpool the best.”

“And I will allow you to like Deadpool, but you have to admit Captain Marvel is awesome.” Felix finished his slice of pizza and leaned back in his chair. “Oof, I'm full.”

“Yeah, me too.” Chan agreed. He stood up and carried the empty pizza boxes to the trash, throwing them in. Then he walked over to the fridge to get some water.

“Shoot...” He sighed as he took in the sight of an empty fridge.

“What's up?” Felix asked.

“We don't have much food.”

“Then let's go grocery shopping. It's only 9:23. We have time. And I can help pay for some of it if that's an issue.” Chan thought about it for a second.

“Okay,” He said. “Let's go shopping.”

Felix laughed. “Get in loser, we're going shopping!”

“No.”

“No, what?”

“Just... No.”

They reached the grocery store without hitch. Since it was late, there weren't many people there. Chan grabbed a cart and began pushing it with Felix walking beside him.

"So what do you normally eat?" Felix spoke up, poking at the boxes in the cereal aisle.

"Stop touching everything." Chan muttered, slapping Felix's hand away from the shelf gently. "I like Cinnamon Toast Crunch."

"Ah yes, the cannibals. Cinnamon Toast Cannibals, coming right up." Felix grinned picking up a box of the mentioned cereal.

"Oh you've seen those ads too?" Chan asked pushing the cart to the next aisle.

"Duh. Who hasn't? Hello, my one true love. The bread aisle." Felix announced dramatically, spinning around with his arms spread out. Chan snickered at that, picking through the bread to find the one he liked.

Meanwhile Felix wandered around the aisle looking at all the different kinds of breads. Once Chan had gotten the bread he turned around to where he had last seen Felix, but the younger boy wasn't there.

"Felix?" He called. No response.
"Felix? Hello?" Nothing again.
"Lix?"

"Chan!" Finally a response. Chan turned in relief as Felix rounded the corner.

"Chan! I found a child!" Chan groaned. Because, yes, Felix had indeed found a child. He was carrying a young girl who looked about two years old in his arms. The girl was laughing and giggling while poking at the boy's face.

"Lix, go put her back..." Chan rubbed the bridge of his nose. How much more impulsive could this boy get?

"No," Felix said firmly, gripping the girl tighter. "I didn't see her parents anywhere near, I looked in all the surrounding aisles and asked the people I saw."
