Felix sighed heavily and rubbed his hand over his face.
“Okay,” He said a noticeable edge in the tone of his voice. “Outfit number, I don't even know anymore. Come on out, let's see it.” Chan walked out of the closet. Felix peeked out through his fingers. Then he pulled his hand away from his face quickly.
“Oh... Oh? Oh!” He stood up and walked over to Chan. “This one might work. What do you think?” Felix shut the closet door and turned Chan to face the mirror. Chan tilted his head at his reflection, turning this way and that taking in all the aspects of the outfit. He was wearing a pair of light wash high waisted jeans, a floral short sleeve button down, and a pair of white sneakers.
“I don't know.” He said hesitantly. “Don't you think it looks a little too, mature, for the image I'm going for?” Felix shook his head exasperatedly at the older's complaints.
“You really know nothing about Instagram do you?” Chan shook his head slightly. Felix sighed and started talking again. “Instagram is a place where you can try out things or dress differently than you would in real life. You still have the bright colors in this outfit, it's just more, like you said, mature and boyfriend like. Take my last post for example, I would never ever wear that outfit out in public. It's too...” He paused. “Sexy. The choker is a definite no from me, at least not in public or if it's not for a special occasion. The shirt was comfortable, but there are no more buttons after here.” He gestured to a spot near the bottom of his sternum. “And that, my friend, is also too smexy for everyday life. At least for me. You and your Greek god body might wear something like that every day, but not me. So, enough rabbit trails, from a general perspective, what do you think of the outfit? And we can always do more than one outfit, that's not a big deal.” Chan looked at his outfit in the mirror one more time. He hummed thoughtfully.
“I would wear this if the shirt and shoes were black and the jeans were darker.” He said. Felix sighed and massaged the bridge of his nose.
“So that's a...”
“Sure.” Chan said. “Why not. But let's find another softer outfit too.” Felix huffed and shook his head again.
“Yes sir.” He replied sarcastically.
After another thirty minutes or so of finding new outfits and having Chan try them on, they finally found three outfits that Chan was happy with. The floral shirt outfit, those same jeans but with an oversized pastel hoodie, and black jeans with a yellow crop top that Felix had magically found somewhere in Chan's closet. Felix folded the clothes and put them in his backpack. He shouldered the bag and gestured at Chan who was fixing his hair.
“Come on pretty boy, let's go.” He said walking out the door. Chan jogged after him.
“Pretty boy?” He asked Felix teasingly. The latter rolled his eyes and walked down the stairs.
“I'm already annoyed with you.” Felix said warningly. “Don't test me.” Then he called into the kitchen where Victoria was sitting. “I'm abducting your brother. We might be a couple hours.” Victoria nodded and gave them a thumbs up.
“You can bring him back if you'd like.” She said. “Or keep him. I don't care.” Felix snickered.
“Okay,” He called back. “He's mine now.”
“Hold on.” Chan interrupted. “I'm my own person. I think I can decide where I go.”
“You baby.” Felix said with a hint of laughter. “We're joking. Of course you're your own person. Now come on, it's already almost lunch time and we haven't even taken any pictures yet.”
“I'm older than you.” Chan retorted. “You can't call me a baby!” He pouted and turned away from Felix.
“Well,” Victoria interceded. “I'm older than both of you. So you're both babies.” She pushed them out of the door. “Have fun taking pictures! Bye!” The door shut and the two boys heard the click of a lock.
