Chapter 1

EUNICE

(JAPAN)

Why do I need to go back to the place I don't want to remember? It gives me so many painful memories.

"Daredesuka (who's there)?" someone knocked.

"It's butler Lee young mistress." said butler Lee.

"Haitte kudasai (please come in). Naniga hoshindesuka (what do you need)?"

"I just want to inform you that we'll be going to the airport at exactly 1:00 pm"

"okay, you can go now."

I really don't get it why my parents wanted me to go back there. They know very well that I hate that place.

FLASHBACK

I was about to sleep when butler Lee came in and told me that my father is looking for me.

"young madam, your father is looking for you. Please proceed to his office right now. He said it's very important"-Butler Lee

After he said that I went to my father's office.

"dad?" i asked after knocking on the door.

"Come in."

"what's the problem dad?"

"I want you to go back to the Philippines"

"What!? Seriously dad!? I don't want to!"

"No.. Gusto ko ay bumalik ka sa Pilipinas"

"Daddy! You know very well that I don't want to go back there anymore! Maraming masasakit na alaala ang meron ako sa lugar na yon!"

"Alam ko yun anak at alam ko din na nandoon ang mga masasaya mong alaala. I want you to go there so you can purely accept what happened to you 5 years ago. I want you to move on baby. Hindi ko na kayang makita ka na nagkakaganyan."

"Move on?! Paano ako makakapagmove on kung pupunta ako sa lugar kung saan ko naramdaman ang lahat ng gusto ko nang kalimutan! "

"Eunice, you know we're doing this for your own good. Alam mong hindi kami gagawa ng ganitong desisyon ng daddy mo ng walang dahilan. Please baby pagbigyan mo na kami." mommy said.

"What else can I do? E pareho nyo nang gusto yon at ngayon lang din naman kayo humiling ni daddy sakin kaya papayag na ko. Basta mom, dad alam nyo na ha?"  pakiusap ko kay mommy

"yes baby, hindi kami magpapadala ng mga body guards mo basta isama mo lang si Butler Lee."

END OF FLASHBACK

Ano kaya ang naisipan nila mommy bat pinapapunta ako dun?

"Baby? Are you ready? You're about to go. Your brother will  fetch you when you get there. " mommy said as she enter my room.

"Yes mom lalabas na po ako."

" You take care of yourself okay? You know how busy your brother is. Baka hindi ka nya laging mabantayan."  dad said

"Yes dad I know that. Don't worry about me, you know I can handle myself."

"Basta anak tawagan mo agad kami pagdating mo ha? Ikaw lang at si Buler Lee ang pupunta dahil alam mo naman, busy kami ng daddy mo sa business natin but we promise to visit you sometimes."

"Okay mom. You too take care. We'll be going."

Finally we're here. Ano naman kaya ang mapapala ko sa pagbalik ko dito?

We're just waiting for my brother to come. He's been staying here for two years to handle our business. As far as I remember he said he planned to live here. What's so good about this place?

"Eunice! There you are. You look so tired eh?" someone said behind me and as I looked back, I found my brother.

"Hey Kuya Kent. Long time no see. I missed you."

"I missed you too. We better go home." he told us as he carried my luggage.

Butler Lee was just behind us the whole time. My brother doesn't open another conversation anymore, I guess he knew I was so tired and needed some rest.

"Kuya, when will my classes start?" I asked as soon as we got home.

"Tomorrow. Late ka na kasi ng 1 month sa klase eh. Nandun na sa kwarto mo yung files tungkol sa school mo at yung nirequest mo nandun na din. Tingnan mo nalang" he answered.

"Okay thanks kuya. "

"What doo you like to eat? Are you hungry? "

"Iya desu (I don't like). I don't feel like eating."

"Are you feeling unwell?" 

"daidyoubudesu, tsukareta dakedesu chotto yasumudake iidesu. (I'm fine, I'm just tired I need to rest.)" 

"I understand. Mukha ka ngang may jetlag. Pumunta ka na sa room mo, nakaprepare na kwarto mo dun. Goodnight baby sis."

"Goodnight kuya." After I said that, I went to my room.

What a tiring day. I need to rest for tomorrow, I hope it'll be a good day.
