Upgrades:
Primary attack:
(P) Slash at enemies with shadow daggers. (P) (P) hold (P) to do a shadow dash. (Deal rapid 15 damage and 25 on the dash)

Jump and press (P) to slam daggers into the ground dealing 35 damage. Press (P) immediately after to release a dark shockwave when pulling them out. (Deals 15 damage)

Secondary attack:
(S) Throw a smoke bomb at enemies that will damage and daze them momentarily leaving behind a damaging dark smoke. (Deals initial 20 damage — dazes smaller enemies for 2 seconds — Smoke deals 5 damage a second for 5 seconds — only two smoke clouds can be out at a time)

Thief in the Night: 500 coins
Press (T) to tighten your mask and become invisible to enemies. Move at 150% speed while invisible. Using the (P) or (S) attack ends the thief mode.
Pressing (T) while in thief mode sends out a shockwave of dark energy that deals 15 area damage. This does not take you out of thief mode.

Robin Hood: 700 coins
Hold (P) to swipe at enemies and steal their coin. (Deals 30 damage and takes 10-50 gold)

Infamous Double Cross: 900 coins
Any attack while in thief mode will automatically deal double damage now and end the thief mode. Ending thief mode now gives a temporary speed increase for 5 seconds (125%)

Pillars of Gold: 1200 coins
Hold (S) to summon a pillar of gold with a Shade on top of it that hurls smoke bombs at enemies. (These smoke bombs do not leave behind smoke clouds — deal 20 damage — thrown once every 2 seconds)

Top Path: Golden Thief
Dagger Combos: 1700 coins
(P) (P) hold (S) to throw out a group of smoke bombs in six different directions.
(P) (P) hold (T) to summon a pillar of gold below you that will explode dealing 40 damage.

Golden Boy: 2200 coins
Hold (P) to summon three golden pillars at once.

Prosperous Thievery: 3000 coins
Nightshade now heals himself when collecting gold. (5 Hp for every coin he collects)

Bottom Path: Shadow Thief
Smoke Stalker: 1700 coins
Dark smoke clouds now drift after enemies to damage them.

Shadow Blades: 2200 coins
Get a new set of shadow blades that deal maximum damage. (25 damage per swing and 40 damage on the dash)

Shadow of Self: 3000 coins
Hold (P) for longer to enter a shadow mode where your damage is increased 150%. (Takes 4 seconds to enter the mode — lasts for 13 seconds)

Soul Gem:
Shades: 4000 coins
While in thief mode, a dozen shades run back and forth crashing into enemies and damaging them. (Deals 10 damage a second)
SG found in Temple of the Sun.

Shrink Enhancement:
Diamond Thief: 5000 coins
When shrinking, will summon large diamond from the sky that will emit four laser beams that rotate around the diamond. Lasers deal 40 damage each. Remains as long as you are shrunken.
When growing, the diamond will drop to the ground, exploding for 80 damage and leaving behind hood for you to collect — anywhere between 1-100 coins.

Backstory:
Revered as the most notorious thief in Skylands, Nightshade was at the top of his thieving game. That was until he went to steal the Dark Eye of Unvisibility at the Midnight Museum. The Trap Team showed up and stopped him then threw him in Cloudcracker prison. After some rehabilitation he was asked to reconsider his stance on villainy. It took some negotiating but he figured he could just rob the bad guys from here on out and joined the Shrink Squad.

Personality:
A very cocky thief that is extremely suave and has a British accent. Is an avid art collector and is a bit snobby. Very judgmental and isn't afraid to let you know.
