"In The Hands of Time"

Element: Magic

Look:
A purple cloaked man made out of pure gold mist. Holds a golden flame in his hand. Holds a golden pocket watch in his other hand.

Is a rather unique character that builds on the idea of Deja Vu — probably the most like Kaos.

Has a max health of 1000 Hp.

Upgrades:
Primary attack:
(P) Hold your hand out in front of you and release a short range pulse of golden flame. (Deals 40 damage)

Secondary attack:
(S) Summon a row of spiked purple hour glasses filled with golden sand. Summon 3 in a row directly in front of you, deal 20 initial damage. Each hour glass has a 3 second countdown before exploding for 50 damage each and leave behind a cloud of golden mist that will deal 5 damage a second for 5 seconds. Use the (P) attack on hour glasses to make them explode earlier.

Through the Haze: 500 coins
(T) Summons a light golden mist around you making Haze invisible to enemies (Can still take damage though). Move around through the mist as a golden electrical current that deals 10 damage to everything it touches. Move at 125% speed. Mode lasts for 7 seconds.

What Is: 700 coins
3 Gifts for the present.
1. Using the flame pulse attack (P) can now deflect attacks from the front if used at the right time. (Parry)
2. Flame Pulse gets a damage boost to 50 damage.
3. Live in the present and stay in the haze for 13 seconds now.

What Was: 900 coins
3 Gifts from the past.
1. While moving through the golden haze, a shade of a past life will appear every 1.5 seconds near an enemy before exploding. (Deals 25 damage)
2. Gain the memories of lost soldiers. Flame pulse will now summon a golden sword that slashes in front of it for 30 damage every time (P) is used. (Extends its range)
3. Every time flame pulse is used, the enemy you last hit will take 15 damage automatically as phantom damage.

What Will Be: 1200 coins
3 Gifts for the future.
1. Exiting the haze activates his gift of foresight. Any attack coming from the front has a 50% chance of doing no damage to Haze. Any attack from the sides or back have a 25% chance of doing no damage. This foresight will last for 7 seconds.
2. Jump and press (P) to summon a large golden clock tower. Comes out of the ground dealing 50 damage. Clock tower has a 13 second countdown, is sped up 3 seconds every time you hit it with the flame pulse. When time runs out the clock tower activates and releases a time pulse that will freeze every enemy, including bosses for 3 seconds.
3. When summoning the three hour glasses, they know where they should be now and will all summon underneath an enemy.

Top Path: Look to the Future
Time's Arrow: 1700 coins
Ever moving forward.
Hold (P) to fire off a large golden arrow that will go through enemies. (Deals 75 damage) Hitting an hour glass with times arrow causes it to explode, sending out 3 more arrows of time. (Quick charge attack)

Written in Prophecy: 2200 coins
Somethings are foretold.
Golden Clock Tower will now give added benefits earlier. Gives Haze a 125% damage buff while out and upon expiration changes to a 125% speed buff until time unfreezes again.

I See Everything: 3000 coins
Never be surprised, anticipate all attacks.
Upon exiting the haze and gaining foresight, all attacks from the front have a 100% chance of being blocked. Side attacks have a 75% chance and attacks from behind have a 50% chance. (Lasts for 7 seconds) Every attack that is blocked with foresight will also issue an immediate counter attack. A purple streak of lightning will strike that enemy dealing 20 damage.

Bottom Path: Live in the Past
For Remembrance Lost: 1700 coins
Lost, but never forgotten.
Take on the memories of long lost heroes for a (P) (P) (P) combo. First flame pulse summons a swinging sword (Deals 30 damage — medium range), second flame pulse a golden fireball (Deals 40 damage — long range), third flame pulse a large axe that smashes down. (Deals 50 damage)
These are all added onto the initial damage done by the flame pulse.

The Winds of Time: 2200 coins
Life rides the winds of time.
Hold (S) to summon the winds of time. A golden mist is whipped up and begins to whirl around Haze like a hurricane dealing 5 damage a second. After 3 seconds, the summoning is complete and every enemy has an hour glass come up from beneath them. (Same stats as mentioned earlier - Has a max of 7 hour glasses)

Rewrite Time: 3000 coins
The future is never set.
Hold (P) to immediately undo anything done to Haze in the past 2 seconds — In other words, any time Haze takes damage, instantly hold (P) and it can be undone.

Soul Gem:
The Oracle: 4000 coins
Jump and press (T) to summon the oracle. Haze will float for 1 second as a large purple clock is summoned beneath him that will spin around until striking midnight and making a loud gong sound. Haze will then drop to the ground and a large pulse of flame will send out a massive shock wave in every direction dealing 75 damage. (This happens over the course of 1 second)

A large purple clock will then surround Haze as he moves for the next 12 seconds as it counts down damaging enemies with the ticking hands. (Deals 40 damage)

Once the time ends the clock will disappear into a golden haze and a large version of Haze's hooded head will appear from it before exploding into a massive colorful lightning storm that deals 200 damage.

Shrink Enhancement:
Time's Staff: 5000 coins
When shrinking, will ignite hand with purple flame and slam it into the ground for a fieryAOE attack before shrinking. (Deals 50 damage)
When growing, will hold out an emerald staff and smash the bottom of it on the ground. This steals time from the enemies around him, decreasing attack cooldown by 50%. Also increased his attack speed by 50%.

Shrink Combo:
Haze's Shrink Enhancement is unique in the way as it also unlocks a shrink combo. This is a four hit combo that can be achieved by pressing the shrink button four times straight while regularly sized. Each press triggers a different move of the combo. The whole combo takes about four seconds to complete.

Press 1 -  Ignites hand with purple flame and slams it into the ground for a fiery AOE attack before shrinking. (Deals 50 damage)

Press 2 - Rather than shrinking, Haze will draw an emerald staff out of the ground and swing it forward and upward (Deals 20 damage). This upward swing will send forth a trail of golden sand in a straight line that will ignite for a quick explosion. (Long range, deals 35 damage on the explosion)

Press 3 - As the staff was swung upwards, it grew in size. Haze now holds it over his head for half a second, allowing you to reposition with the joystick if necessary, before slamming the elongated staff down on the ground for some heavy damage. (Deals 100 damage)

Press 4 - While staff is still on the ground, Haze repositions his foot and turns green for half a second as the tip of the staff fired off a long range blast of energy. (Deals 150 damage)

Backstory:
Time is a River that is constantly moving forward. Everyone else is just pebbles floating through this river existing merely in one point of time as they drift along, only able to see in brief moments of clarity where the rapids clear up. Haze is no longer that pebble. Instead he is the raft that floats above the river. Still moving forward with the flow, but able to see above the rapids, knowing both what is ahead and what is behind.

No one knows Haze's backstory and how he became the Oracle or what happened to the old one. He just showed up at the academy one day saying he would be needed.

Personality:
A cryptic personality that speaks in riddles.
