10. Is This....The End?

I quickly grabbed Raven's hand and ran to the Hades cabin, to our surprise all of my siblings were getting ready for the war, armor suits and swords flew by in the cabin they all yelled, "GUYS I HAVE AN IDEA"  I shouted to them, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me and Raven "if I'm correct we can all summon monsters, why don't we join our powers and summon many of them?" after I said that, some turned to see others and started to mumble before looking back at me and nodding "yeah let's do that" said what seemed to be the counselor. "alright everyone go out and make a circle" he said sternly, everyone did as told,once they formed a circle there was a space for me, I let go of Raven's hand and walked to it.

"Aight everyone summon whatever you can. I'll try to keep you here" the counselor said, I closed my eyes and concentrated on many harpies, a few hellhounds and a minotaur. The pain was unbearable, it was like eating one of those ghost peppers, but instead of your mouth burning like Tartarus, it was in my head, hands and chest. The counselor let out a scream of agony, he was the only one not summoning monsters, but using his own shadow to keep us from over doing it. once I opened my eyes there they were, the monsters I had pictures in my head, along with many more "now monsters go! and attack the romans!!" the counselor shouted before passing out from the pain, luckily, some of my siblings caught him before he fell down. The monsters roared loud enough to tear open some clouds and ran towards the fighting.

For once I wasn't tired when I summoned the monsters, but there wasn't time to think of that, I had to keep Raven safe. I turned to where she was standing only to see her gone, I was freaking out "where could she be!? Why did she leave!? I have to find her!!" I was yelling at myself, then I heard a whistle come from the woods. When I looked over at it, my eyes widened. Josh was holding Raven with a Dagger at her throat "Brian!! Help m-" she tried to talk, but Josh held it closer to the point making her bleed slightly "tsk, tsk, tsk. what will you do Brian go help your siblings over there, or help your little girlfriend" Josh said grinning like a maniac, but my siblings?

I turned back around and saw that the counselor and the two other siblings who caught him, were all held down by some other people swords pointing towards their necks "you monster!! Why even do this!!" I asked, feeling that same rush from way back "why do this!?For absolute power of course!! And who better to help with that than the Romans!!" Josh said loudly with a spine chilling laugh.

That was my chance. I made my shadow knock the dagger away from Raven and throwing Josh towards a tree , at the same time I had a few harpies hold on to the Romans and carrying them away. Suddenly, I  felt light headed and fell to my knees. Raven quickly ran to my side "Brian, what's wrong!? what did you do!?" she asked with tears in her eyes as one of my sisters came running to my side. "he just over used his own shadow, and probably the harpies. Here I'll help him recover" and with that she covered my head in some shadows, after some minutes, she removed them, and I felt a whole lot better, "thanks but why help me? I'm not important" I mumbled looking up at her, "well you, my boy, need to learn that everyone has a reason to be born and we'll make it out of here" she said and ran back to the fighting. I slowly sat up; Raven hugged me repeating the words idiot.

"Hey it's not like I died. Right?" I asked hugging her back "if you do I'll never forgive you....you idiot death kid". As soon as she helped me get up, there was clapping coming from the woods "My, what a touching moment we have in the midst of a war," Josh called from the trees, "now, how about you guys dance for me" he said laughing as he shot lightning at the ground under us, of course we jumped and moved trying to be burnt, which made Josh laugh "that's a good dance my monkeys, but i must say I've grown tired of all of--" he was cut off by a knife thrown at him, it barely missed his jaw, but managed to cut him up to his ear. "WHY DON'T YOU SHUT YOUR HOLE AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN AND NOT LIKE A WEASEL!!"  Raven yelled with a slight glow in her eyes "why you little!!" Josh said before he lunged at Raven.
