You know. The world works in mysterious ways, last I remember I was lying down in bed with the love of my life, and I woke up inside of Aphrodite's temple.

"W-where am I? Aphrodite! I thought we turned mortal! What am I doing here!" I called out, but there was no one hearing me. I sat up in what seemed to be a bed of pure cotton, I groaned to myself and hopped off of it.

That's when Aphrodite and my mom came into view. "Oh br... Dante dear, you should sit down for a moment" said Aphrodite with a worried tone, I looked at my mom confused "w-why am I here? Where's Natasha!? What happened to my kids!? Did Drew kill them!?" I yelled.

Both ladies shook their head and helped me back on the bed, my mom placed a hand on my shoulder "Dante... Natasha and your kids... They died over one hundred years ago" she said with a knot in her voice.

My eyes grew teary, I held my head in between my hands and tried hard not to cry "n-not possible... I was with them. Last I remember... Natasha and I were opening gifts with the kids, it was Christmas" I mumbled.

"Persephone, it's too much for him, we have to talk to Brian" Aphrodite whispered.

Mom nodded at her "you did good on calling me up here through the Rose," she whispered and then held onto my head "I'm sorry".

My mom's nails dug inside of my skull, many memories came flashing into my head, times before even cellphones and camp half blood. I could see Greece in its prime, I felt the warm breeze, I saw the temple for the gods sparkling, I clearly remember visiting the Apollo temple in Delphi, the Ares Temple in Sparta, and finally Hecate's temple in Lagina. Then I passed out.

I woke up with a start, my heart was beating quickly, it felt like it could fly out of my chest. I looked around at my surroundings and sighed in relief as I saw both Persephone and Aphrodite sitting next to the bed I was on.

"Lady Persephone, Lady Aphrodite. What happened?" I asked not knowing why I was here.

Persephone took a deep sigh "I believe it is time to tell you about your past"

Persephone explained that this wasn't my first time alive, I've had two past lives before me, one was a son of Hades called Dante Underworld, and the oldest one was actually a legacy of both Apollo and Ares (basically his dad was a son of Ares and his mom was a daughter of Apollo) blessed by Hecate; his name was Cyrus Cleisthenes.

Persephone cleared her throat "Let's start with Cyrus, he was a young scholar. He favored reading books and gaining knowledge, he did practice with bows and swords, but he also wanted to cast spells, that's why Hecate blessed him. He was one of the most powerful legacy in Greece, he traveled from his hometown of Larissa to many temples, but he eventually found his death by the hand of a Chimera"

I shuddered at that word, I've always feared the chimera, I now knew why.

"Then came your first reincarnation, Dante Underworld, you didn't have a last name since your mother had died at birth. Hades and I took care of you because you had no one and because of a peculiar curse Aphrodite gave you" said Persephone glancing towards a blushing Aphrodite.

Aphrodite continued "yeah well, Dante met and married a demigod girl called Natasha, after some bumps in the way, but they managed to live a long life".

I blinked at both of the goddess "so... What does this mean to me?"

Persephone rubbed her forehead "well if you achieve Elysium again, you'll be sent to the isles of the blessed".

(Let me stop for a second, you see, according to Greek myth, when you die you get judge on what you do, but if you're afraid to know your fate you can simply go to the fields of asphodel, a massive corn field where you'll wander through eternity. But if you do get judge then you have two destinations, Tartarus or Elysium, if you didn't notice by the name the let me explain.
Tartarus is where you'll be punished.
Elysium is where you'll be praised and be at peace. And you'll get a chance of reviving.
But the isle of the blessed are more exclusive, only if you have achieved Elysium three times you may spend eternity there.)

"Persephone... My head hurts" I groaned and held onto my head.

Persephone sighed softly "that's your past knowledge, why else do you think you're so great at everything? "

I blinked a couple of times at her clearly confused

"From Cyrus you obtained your bow, swords, and magic skills. From Dante you obtained your scepter, and deductive skills. But you seemed to have gathered knowledge from them both. Two entire lifetimes of knowledge, including of what you learned as a spirit. Guess all those talks with all of those history teachers, Einstein, Da Vinci, Socrates and Aristotle finally paid out" explained Persephone

I looked down at the bed and sighed "then why... Why do I feel like I've lost something, like there's a void in my being"

Aphrodite patted my shoulder "that's because Dante wants to see his family, here I wrote this one day I was bored" she said handing me a book.

The cover seemed simple enough, a red haired girl holding the arm of a guy with black hair and icy blue eyes. The title was Death's stolen heart, it was signed by Aphrodite herself even.

After I was done recovering from this overwhelming experience, they sent me back to camp, I must've been there for a long time since there was the usual amount of campers you'd see in the summer.

I walked towards my cabin and read a note that was attached to the door

Dear Brian

I have no idea how to say this, but you spent 10 months up in Olympus, Persephone told us to not worry, that you were just absorbing what you were told. Oh and by the way your mom said you are going to school this year, so um yeah. Good luck

With love.
