I was shaking so bad you could literally see it. I don't know if I was shaking because of the cold, or the cold glare from those six eyes.

"L-let them g-go!!" I managed. The creature let out a laugh that sound like hissing, "if that is what the prince wants, the prince gets", it suddenly dropped Joey face first on the ground. My fear and coldness disappeared, I lunged forwards and attempted to break Joey's fall, sadly, I did what that creature wanted. It swiftly reached out with some sort of liquid at us, pulling us up against the ceiling. I could only stare at the ground; that was the last thing I saw, before I blacked out.

I have no clue how long I was out, but I felt my bones being frozen, my whole body felt like it was turning into an ice sculpture. I could hear rustling and something crashing against the rocky wall. My eyes slowly opened, my vision was blurry and the fact that this cave was dark didn't help at all, I tried to focus my sight towards the noise. It sound like a chitter insects would do, but also like if a hiker was searching desperately for something in his bag.

To be honest, I was scared, there was nothing but darkness around, I couldn't move and if I did, I wouldn't know what else I would do, sure I could use my fire ability as a light source, but that would be very stupid seeing how I'm barely able to move and a deathly fast monster is in the cave, so yeah I don't want to die that way.

"Ahh," I heard a female voice say, "you foolish boys brought the whip of ice, and a worthless map. Ha! My cave isn't even in this so called magical map!" It said in a hissing tone. I heard a familiar sound, at least, it was Joey waking up groaning, I looked around quickly trying to hush him up, but it was too late; those six glowing red eyes marched up at us, by the sound it was making I think it was carrying around something "my dinner has awoken, good, now I get to see your pathetic faces as you freeze to death!".

I was once again shaking, but out of nowhere I heard a voice in my head

Deceive the weaver.
The leash able to make mountains crumble.
Only may a child and a goddess wield

Only may a child and a goddess wield... It was crazy, but I had to give it a try. "Heh, you're a weak monster, can't even kill us yourself" I managed with deep breaths trying to regain my heat. The monster didn't appreciate me, it hissed and placed its claw up to my jaw; it felt almost human like, except humans don't have long sharp nails. "I bet you can't even use your precious whip to kill us!" I huffed.

There was a complete silence, only the icy wind going through the cave made noise, then the creature let out a hard chuckle. "Very well. Son of Hades, you will die by the whip of ice" it hissed. There was a soft rustle as if something was being open. Then a golden light emerged from what I think was the box the whip was in, the creature's hand reached out to grasp it; I was in fact right, it had a human hand with large claws, oddly enough, the hands looks delicate, sort of like what you'd expect from a princess.

As the hand picked the whip from the box; the glow showed what we were up against. I saw a woman, her stomach was exposed, luckily her top was covered in what seemed black fabric. He jaw was sharp yet smooth, it's what you'd call perfect, her small lips almost concealed by her hair falling down in front of her face. But if I go any higher than her small nose I would be traumatized; there were those six glowing red eyes behind the midnight black hair, which surprisingly looked like she brushed it out of fun.

Her eyes flickered with the golden light, she smiled and pointed at me "you'll go first, Prince of the underworld" . She dropped the box and raised her hand to start the whipping. For a split second I saw something that made me fear her even more. Her entire lower half was the body of a spider!. I think it was the body of a black widow given the black and red coloration.

"Wait! I know you!" I yelled, the female spider raised an eyebrow, or I think she did, "you know me? How?" She asked with a curious tone. "Y-you're Arachne, the best weaver in Greece" I managed, the cold air still made it hard for me to breath. I saw Arachne's spider eyes grow slightly, she shot some sort of web towards the entrance of the cave sealing off the cold air "continue your talk mortal" she chittered curiously. "Y-you got in a weaving contest with the goddess of crafts, Athena," at that moment Arachne hissed "that stupid goddess! She should've killed me instead of turning me into this! Keep talking kid".

"You lost the contest, but only because you showed Zeus's true nature, Both Hera and Zeus dreaded that, that's why you lost. You Arachne are in fact the true master weaver" I said, some heat returning to my body. I could see Arachne smile proudly, her warm hand tapping my cheek gently "very good, and for that I'll kill you last. I'll bring my revenge on that son of Zeus you are so fond of".

My eyes flared up, I tried to wiggle away to no avail, this made Arachne laugh "not even Hercules himself could break these webs, enjoy the show dear Brian".

She walked on her 8 legs towards the still managing to stay awake Joey. I had to do something before he gets eaten!
