Arachne completely ignored Joey and I, she started to shoot her webs, trying to cover up the cracks, this however didn't work.

The ice boulder started glowing a light blue aura, Joey covered his eyes, but I didn't, I was compelled to look at it. Arachne swiftly ran towards the boulder and attempted to shatter it before the girl could break free. I was about to throw a fireball at Arachne, that was until the boulder shattered from the inside causing huge chunks of ice fly aimlessly everywhere.

Joey hid behind a rock to not get his arms cut off, I stood my ground and melted the ice as much as I could; Arachne, being the closest one, got shot back to the entrance of the cave from the sheer force thrown at her.

Where there was once a big ice boulder, was now a girl around her 15's, she wore black leather boots, deep blue jeans, a light blue shirt with a black-n-white stripped vest, her hair was long and black as the darkest night, on her hair was a floppy white beanie, she had a very pale skin color (wouldn't surprise me with her being in ice all these years). She had some freckles to give her face some color, she had a small nose, and just over her nose were two, strangely enough, defined thin eyebrows and icy blue eyes.

She was crumbled where the boulder used to be, she was gasping for air even shaking. Joey ran towards her and wrapped his parka around her. I was keeping an eye on the stunned Arachne, slowly making my way towards Joey and the girl.

Joey was shaking from the cold, he was just wearing his sleeveless camp shirt, not a good idea if you're going to Mt. Everest, the girl glanced towards Joey and handed him back the parka "no please, keep it. You're the cold one here" Joey whispered. The girl smirked and tossed the parka over his shoulder, "yeah I'm cold, but that's good for me" she looked at me and held back a chuckle "I love your eyes. Contacts?" She asked.

I tried hard not to burn her right now. "A gift from Aphrodite herself" I commented, "well it doesn't surprise me. Now let's kill that spider" she grinned and showed a bracelet on her right wrist. It didn't seem as much, it was just a white band with a diamond shape bump with a hole in the middle. I showed her my snake bracelet and tossed one of my dual blade rings to Joey.

We were all armed now, Joey had the blade out; I had the bident, but the girl was standing with the bracelet facing Arachne. I raised an eyebrow at her, she rolled her eyes and bumped my shoulder "let's not focus on it and fight this eight legged freak".

Arachne groaned and held her head with both of her hands "once I capture all of you, I'll have three demigod trophies!!" She shouted before she lunged towards the girl. Joey and I jumped away from Arachne's range, except the daughter of Khione, she stood her ground and held her right hand with her left hand. Out of nowhere, a white mist came pouring out of the bracelet making the form of a spartan shield. Arachne crashed onto the shield like if she was running towards a metal wall.

Arachne stumbled backwards, we took the chance and started slicing at her, the girl was now using that weird mist in the form of a sword; it was still attached to the bracelet so it also looked like a scarf of sorts.

Every. Single. Hit got deflected off Arachne's skin, even the human looking parts. We had to come up with something! Nothing was killing Arachne, not even hurt her!

At least Arachne was stunned, her head was spinning, if this was a cartoon you'd see little birds going around her. I looked at the two panting demigods beside me and asked "hey girl, do you know any of her weaknesses?"

The girl slowly turned her head towards me and glared "the name's Chloe, Chloe Davis. And no I was in the ice, you can't hear anything inside of it" she explained, Joey bolted up in between Chloe and I, then flew deeper into the cave, dragging us along.

"What the Tartarus!?" We yelled at Joey. He ignored us until we were deep into the darkest part of this spider cave. When he dropped us off, Chloe used her bracelet mist as a sort of natural light source, if you ever seen one of those glow in the dark mushrooms then you get the idea.

We stood there panting, seemed like the deeper in the cave the lower the oxygen, of course this meant lower fire capability. Chloe held Joey's shirt collar growling "you have ten seconds before I smack the living Tartarus out of you". Joey gulped and slowly backed away from the angry Chloe.

"Okay so, here's my plan, you guys distract Arachne and I'll air tackle her out of the cave, that way she'll fall of the mountain and we'd be on our way. Unless mister pink eyes here can teleport us out of here" Joey explained. I got both set of eyes looking at me. I closed my eyes and tried to concentrate, but it was useless, I wasn't focused enough. "No... No teleportation for us" I mumbled, Joey sighed and rubbed his forehead "that also means you can't fly, so I guess I'll do it".

After a few moments Arachne came in at us, we stuck to Joey's plan. Chloe would attack Arachne from one side and I would attack from the other, once Joey had a chance he would force the spider out of her cave. At last that moment came, Joey had the perfect shot, he charged himself in electricity and went straight ahead against Arachne.

It.. It was weird, everything happened so fast, I think Arachne somehow managed to grab my parka as Joey pushed her out of the cave, don't think Joey noticed either. Last thing I remember was me and this huge spider being shot out of the cave and onto the dark abyss of Mt. Everest.
