I woke up with a start, I was gasping for air as I patted myself trying to remember who and what I am. Aphrodite was sitting next to my bed on what seemed to be my desk chair, you know, those small wheeled chairs.

She gave a half heartedly sigh "so you're her next life... How did I not see this before?" She mumbled under her breath

I groaned softly and rubbed my head "my whole body is sore, what happened?" I mumbled

Aphrodite let out another sigh "it's your body readjusting to being yourself. That vision you had, since she was your most recent past life, you actually felt everything, even when she died"

I blinked a couple of times as I sat up "could you tell me... Could you tell me about Aylena before and after her death?"

This was probably the last thing she wanted to talk about, but she blinked back tears and took deep breaths.

"As a kid... Aylena was very troubled, her dad wasn't always with her, he stayed working to help her out so at best they had an hour together. But unlike most kids, she didn't want to prove anything to anyone, she went to school, cared for her own self and even made her dad his lunch. "

"That was until she went to camp, she was pushed away from everyone because 'she wasn't as pretty as the other girls'. And truth be told I saw this happen, I didn't intervene because all my daughters are beautiful, they're segregating themselves."

I raised my hand "they would be jealous because I... She had pink eyes"

Aphrodite gave a slight smile "that could also be it, but she thought that her mom, being a goddess, would hate her. So she went out to a modeling agency, they instantly got her in when she was barely sixteen."

"Then she became a well known model, but behind the curtain, her employers were angels they-"

I interrupted "you're telling me that angels and demons exists?"

Aphrodite nodded slowly "Apollo leads the angels, while the demons follow their kings since ancient times, and because Hades tossed them into a deep part of the underworld"

I nodded and motioned her to go on

"The angels made Aylena do their dirty work, she stole and killed in their name, it was either some demons or just competition. She thought... She thought this was her only way to give back, after all, angels are supposed to be the good guys"

I raised my hand "they aren't?"

Aphrodite shrugged "everyone has their motives, angels were supposed to be good, but they also killed pregnant demons and their newborn babies, if it had demon blood it had to be killed no matter the age, but then again some demons caused a greater good in the world" she trailed off

I nodded slowly and sat back against the bed frame "so what exactly made her want to give back to the gods?"

Aphrodite gave a hurt smile "well, she was told she was a shame to me because she never had a love partner, I guess she thought modeling was her best bet"

Suddenly the air seemed more gloom "she... She died when she miscalculated a bomb explosion, she was going to blow up the main angel building, that was before she was caught and then the bomb went off" she said with a knot in her throat.

I sighed not knowing what I could do "I um... Sorry about her death"

Aphrodite shook her head "it's not your fault, I just... I'm just glad she lives in you"

I nodded again and yawned softly "well... I'm glad you two finally had closure mo- Aphrodite "

Aphrodite chuckled softly and held onto my shoulder "thank you again Brian, you proved to be the best champion I've had" she stood up and ruffled my hair "about your eyes, you just had to ask" she winked and flashed away leaving my room smelling like roses and cinnamon.

I groaned and fell back on my bed "gee thanks eyes, couldn't you have said anything before?"

I blinked rapidly and facepalmed, I was obviously too sleepy to even make sense of what was going on. I instantly fell asleep as my head hit the pillow.

You know, many demigods fear falling asleep since our dreams often give us a vision of the future. I haven't really had any dreams since that incident back in Japan, but now I dreamed something weird.

I was walking inside this big building known as school, or prison whichever you prefer. As I walked inside everyone was blurred, the only ones who weren't had this slight aura around them. I walked inside of a classroom, the strangest part was that the only one there was a teenage boy with ratty jeans, sunglasses and a black leather jacket, he sat on the back of the class, there was something seriously wrong with this guy, I could see his eyes, his red fiery eyes. "Welcome back, Brian Grey" his voice was deep and maniacal, I could only stand there as he laughed, soon enough I was woken up by my alarm going off... Wait I don't have an alarm.

I sat up on my bed and blinked as a round alarm clock with plastic bones attached to it, basically it was a ring of bones with a clock in the middle.

I patted the top part and it stopped making that dreadful noise, I got off my bed and stared outside the window, the sun hasn't even come out yet!

I groaned and decided to get dressed, instead of wearing camp clothes, I wore jeans and a black shirt with a skull on the front.

After a long morning I was ready for this evil summer school I was forced into, I asked my eyes to go back to their normal brown color since well, I was known for that.

The drive to school wasn't as bad as I thought, mom and I kept talking about how much of a great year this would be, since now I knew what I was and the dangers of it.

The school itself didn't looked too bad, it was simple, squared and brick colored, so far so good.

Outside of the school was Madi and Skylar waiting for me, I wished my mom a good day and walked over to both girls, we smiled and walked inside with our heads held high, but I couldn't help but feel my stomach do turns
